The 2023 Hyundai Kona stands out as a subcompact SUV that mixes personality with real equipment. Hyundai positioned the Kona to be distinctive from the start with unique styling, a turbocharged engine option, and a lot of kit for a reasonable starting price. For buyers who want something small but not plain, that combination is a big part of the Kona’s appeal.
For 2023, the Kona also benefited from the first-generation updates that made it more competitive. The model had standard wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and adaptive cruise control was upgraded so it could bring the Kona to a complete stop. The Kona N Line was offered for the 2022 and 2023 model years, giving shoppers a more performance-focused choice with a 195-hp turbocharged engine and optional all-wheel drive. The 2023 Kona N was the sportiest version mentioned, with a 276-horsepower engine, while the Kona lineup as a whole still offered all-wheel drive as an option.

I can’t say really much I’m upgrading from a very old car. However 1 week in and I love my Kona. Drives nice. Love the safety features and looks sporty. Price point good. Gets higher with higher models.

It is very easy to get in and out of and the infotainment center is what one would consider in a modern vehicle. It feels a lot like the older Scion xB series--- very roomy, handles turn well, and great gas mileage! Within this class of crossover and trim, the Kona fully exceeds my wishes on EVERY level! Well Done, Hyundai!
