Is the 2022 Ford Transit Connect reliable?

What should I look for when buying a used 2022 Ford Transit Connect?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 83% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should prioritize a history report first, then inspect the vehicle closely for signs of prior damage, heavy wear, or uneven condition from one listing to the next. Is now a good time to buy a used 2022 Ford Transit Connect?

This is a moderate market, so you can shop selectively without expecting a deep bargain on every listing.

• Deal availability: 31.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.

What is the 2022 Ford Transit Connect's resale value?

The current average of $19,825 sits slightly below last year's $22,352.

That decline suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy with less risk of immediate overpayment. If you plan to sell later, the softer pricing environment means your future resale will depend heavily on condition, mileage, and how well the vehicle has been maintained. A clean history and strong upkeep matter more when the market is already pricing the model conservatively.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2022 Ford Transit Connect or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 31.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 83% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.31% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2022 is the better starting point if you want a balance of price, inventory, and owner satisfaction. If you're especially price-sensitive, you can still compare nearby years, but the 2022 gives you a strong mix of current market softness and decent deal availability.
