You should still review the history report carefully and confirm there are no hidden accident or title issues. What is the 2022 Ford Bronco Sport's resale value?

The current average of $21,527 sits slightly below last year's $24,487.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled, which can help you buy more confidently now but may also limit upside if you plan to sell soon. For future sellers, a softer market means condition, mileage, and trim appeal matter even more when it comes time to list. Strong presentation and a clean history can help you stand out if prices remain under pressure.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.9/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2022 Ford Bronco Sport or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 35.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 83.8% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.09% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.9/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2021 if:

• At $19,627, the 2021 costs less than the current year's $21,527 average.
• It offers a lively, capable, and attractive compact SUV experience.

The bottom line: If you want the stronger current-market balance of price, inventory, and owner satisfaction, the 2022 is the better starting point. If your top priority is spending less upfront, the 2021 is the more budget-friendly alternative and still delivers the Bronco Sport’s core appeal.
