Is the 2022 Chrysler 300 a good car?

Yes — the 2022 Chrysler 300 earns a 4.9/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise its smooth performance, comfortable ride, and spacious interior, and many also like its stylish design and quality sound system. Is the 2022 Chrysler 300 reliable?

Owners rate it 4.9/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

Owners describe it as durable and dependable, and the long production run supports the sense that this is a car built around proven hardware. The recurring praise for smooth performance and comfort also suggests a trouble-free ownership experience for many buyers. For used shoppers, the main long-term risk is less about novelty and more about finding a well-kept example with consistent maintenance.

What should I look for when buying a used 2022 Chrysler 300?

At 68.6% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should run a vehicle history report before you commit, then prioritize a pre-purchase inspection on any car that looks especially clean or unusually well priced. Focus on body condition, panel alignment, and signs of prior repair, since those details can reveal more than the listing photos. If you want the safest buy, compare several examples and favor the one with the clearest maintenance and accident history.

What is the 2022 Chrysler 300's resale value?

The current average of $23,371 sits slightly below last year's $25,081.

That tells you the market has softened, which can help you buy more affordably now but may also limit short-term appreciation if you plan to resell soon. If you keep the car in strong condition and maintain it well, you can help protect its future value. Demand should remain supported by the model's comfort, size, and traditional sedan appeal.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.9/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2022 Chrysler 300 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 29.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 68.6% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.82% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.9/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2021 if:

• At $19,730, the 2021 costs less than the current year's $23,371 average.
• It offers a more affordable, traditional rear-wheel-drive luxury-sedan feel.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $28,818, the 2023 costs more than the current year's $23,371 average.
• It adds a final-year V8-focused performance sendoff.

The bottom line: The 2022 is the best all-around choice if you want the strongest mix of price, satisfaction, and available inventory. If your priority is saving money, the 2021 is the better value path; if you want the most special version, the 2023 is the upgrade to watch.
