Used 2022 Chevrolet Corvette for Sale nearSaint Louis, MO

How much does the 2022 Chevrolet Corvette cost?

Prices have softened 4.58% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,983 listings available, which gives you a solid pool of cars to compare.

Is the 2022 Chevrolet Corvette a good car?

Yes — owners rate it 4.85/5, and the expert rating is 8.17/10. The model scores 9/10 across Performance, Cost effectiveness, and Technology.

Owners consistently praise its stunning looks, impressive performance, comfortable ride, excellent handling, and strong value for money. That lines up with the Corvette’s use case as a serious sports car that still aims to be approachable and usable day to day.

The main trade-offs are poor fuel economy and limited cargo space, and advanced safety features are not standard. Even so, if you want sharp styling, strong driving enjoyment, and easy-to-use technology, this model year fits that brief well.

Good and great deals account for 40.8% of listings, so you have a meaningful share of the market to shop from.

Is the 2022 Chevrolet Corvette reliable?

Owners rate it 4.85/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

Owner feedback points to a car that feels dependable, trouble-free, and worth counting on over time, with strong satisfaction around the ownership experience. The expert evaluation also describes the Corvette as easy to get the most out of and comfortable enough to serve as a daily driver.

Chevy’s three-year, 36,000-mile bumper-to-bumper warranty and five-year, 60,000-mile powertrain warranty add some reassurance for used buyers. For long-term ownership, your biggest risk is less about basic durability and more about whether the car was maintained carefully and driven with sports-car wear in mind.

What should I look for when buying a used 2022 Chevrolet Corvette?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 90.8% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially on a car with this much performance hardware. Focus on signs of curb rash, tire wear, brake wear, and any evidence that the car was used hard or modified. If you’re shopping a convertible or a car with options, make sure the roof, lift system, and electronics all work as intended.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base 1LT gives you the essentials, but it skips navigation and the available driver-assistance features. The 2LT and 3LT add more convenience and tech, so they make more sense if you want a better-equipped cabin.
• Powertrain: You get a 6.2-liter V8 with 490 hp and 465 pound-feet of torque, or 495 hp and 470 lb-ft with the optional performance exhaust system. The eight-speed dual-clutch automatic is the only transmission.
• Safety package: Blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert are the notable driver-assistance features, and they are not available on the base 1LT trim.
• Infotainment: Every Corvette gets an 8-inch touchscreen, a 12-inch digital instrument cluster, wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, Bluetooth, SiriusXM, and a built-in WiFi hotspot. Navigation is standard on all trims except the base 1LT.
• Fuel efficiency: EPA fuel economy is 19 mpg combined, 16 mpg city, and 24 mpg highway.

Which 2022 Chevrolet Corvette trim should I buy?

The 2022 Chevrolet Corvette is offered in 3 trim levels: 1LT, 2LT, 3LT.

Here's the short version:

• 1LT: This is the entry point, but it leaves out navigation and the available blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert. It makes sense only if you want the lowest starting price and can live with the leanest equipment list.
• 2LT: This is the best-value trim for most shoppers because it adds more comfort and convenience without pushing all the way to the top of the range. If you want the sweet spot between price and features, this is the one to target.
• 3LT: Choose this if you want the most upscale cabin and are willing to pay for it. It’s the right pick when you care more about equipment and presentation than value.

The safety features are not available on the base 1LT trim, so if driver assistance matters to you, shop 2LT or 3LT.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2022 Chevrolet Corvette?

It’s a buyer-friendly market right now, with enough inventory and enough price softness to give you room to negotiate.

• Deal availability: 40.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,983 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.58% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 90.8% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $67,305, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2022 Chevrolet Corvette's resale value?

The current average of $67,611 sits slightly below last year's $70,854.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled a bit, which can help you buy more confidently now but may also temper near-term appreciation if you plan to resell soon. For a future seller, the good news is that the Corvette still sits in a desirable performance niche, so well-kept examples should continue to attract attention. The strongest cars for resale will likely be clean, well-optioned, and carefully maintained.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.85/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2022 Chevrolet Corvette safe?

The Corvette is light on driver-assist tech, with blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert as the notable features.

It earns a 6/10 safety score from our experts.

Those features are helpful because rear visibility is limited, but they are not standard on the base 1LT trim. The main caveat is that advanced safety features are not broadly available, so you should not expect the kind of driver-assistance coverage you’d find in many mainstream cars.

Should I buy a 2022 Chevrolet Corvette or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 40.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 90.8% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.58% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.85/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It keeps the C8’s mid-engine layout, strong performance, and easy-to-use technology while adding only minor changes for the year.

Consider the 2021 if:

• At $64,387, the 2021 costs less than the current year's $67,611 average.
• It offers stylish, fun-to-drive value with a more visceral convertible experience.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $77,724, the 2023 costs more than the current year's $67,611 average.
• It leans harder into the Corvette’s exotic-car character with broader supercar appeal.

The bottom line: the 2022 is the best all-around pick if you want the current C8 formula with strong market support and a favorable price trend. If you’re more price-sensitive, the 2021 is the smarter value play; if you want to spend more for the next step up in presence, the 2023 is the one to compare.
