Used 2022 Chevrolet Corvette for Sale near Indiana

How much does the 2022 Chevrolet Corvette cost?

Prices have softened 4.48% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,976 listings available, which gives you a solid amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2022 Chevrolet Corvette a good car?

Yes — the 2022 Chevrolet Corvette earns a 4.85/5 user rating and an 8.17/10 expert rating. The model scores 9/10 across Performance, Cost effectiveness, and Technology.

Owners consistently praise the Corvette’s stunning looks, impressive performance, comfortable ride, excellent handling, and strong value for money. That lines up with the car’s use case as a dramatic, mid-engine sports car that still aims to be usable every day.

The main trade-offs are poor fuel economy and limited cargo space, and the expert notes also point to a setup that may not be sharp enough for the most hardcore track-day buyers. Even so, the market still shows 36.5% good or great deals, which suggests there’s room to shop carefully.

Is the 2022 Chevrolet Corvette reliable?

Owners rate it 4.85/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

User feedback points to a car that feels dependable in the ways that matter to sports-car shoppers: it delivers consistent performance, a comfortable ride, and a package that owners feel good about living with over time. The expert notes also emphasize that the Corvette is easy to get the most out of and remains approachable rather than intimidating.

Chevrolet’s three-year, 36,000-mile bumper-to-bumper warranty and five-year, 60,000-mile powertrain warranty help reduce early ownership risk. For used buyers, the bigger long-term concern is less about basic durability and more about how hard the car was driven and maintained.

What should I look for when buying a used 2022 Chevrolet Corvette?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 91.2% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a history report and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially on a low-slung sports car where curb rash, underbody wear, and track use can matter. Focus on tire condition, brake wear, and whether the car has the options you want, since Corvette equipment varies a lot by trim.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base 1LT gives you the Corvette experience, but it skips navigation and the available blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert. The 2LT and 3LT add more convenience and comfort equipment, so they suit you better if you want a richer daily-driver setup.
• Powertrain: You get a 6.2-liter V8 with 490 hp and 465 lb-ft of torque, or 495 hp and 470 lb-ft with the optional performance exhaust. It uses an eight-speed dual-clutch automatic, and the mid-engine layout helps traction and balance.
• Safety package: Blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert are the key driver-assistance features, but they are not available on the base 1LT trim.
• Infotainment: Every Corvette gets an 8-inch touchscreen, a 12-inch digital instrument cluster, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Bluetooth, SiriusXM, and a built-in WiFi hotspot. Navigation is standard on all trims except the base 1LT.
• Fuel efficiency: EPA fuel economy is 19 mpg combined, 16 mpg city, and 24 mpg highway.

Which 2022 Chevrolet Corvette trim should I buy?

The 2022 Chevrolet Corvette is offered in 3 trim levels: 1LT, 2LT, and 3LT.

Here's the short version:

• 1LT: This is the entry point, and it gives you the core Corvette performance and design at the lowest price. It makes the most sense if you want the car’s driving character first and can live without some convenience and safety features.
• 2LT: This is the best-value trim for most shoppers because it adds more comfort and tech without jumping to the top of the range. It’s the sweet spot if you want a more complete daily-driver experience.
• 3LT: Choose this if you want the most upscale Corvette cabin and are willing to pay for it. It’s the right pick if interior equipment matters more to you than value.

Blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert are not available on the base 1LT trim.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2022 Chevrolet Corvette?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so it rewards comparison shopping more than impulse buying.

• Deal availability: 36.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,976 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.48% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 91.2% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $67,299, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2022 Chevrolet Corvette's resale value?

The current average of $67,792 sits slightly below last year's $70,972.

That price movement suggests the Corvette has softened enough to create a better entry point for you now, but it also means future sellers may face a more competitive market if pricing stays under pressure. The current range still shows healthy demand, though, which helps support long-term value.

Strong owner satisfaction also matters here. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.85/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2022 Chevrolet Corvette safe?

The 2022 Chevrolet Corvette is light on driver-assist tech, with blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert as the main safety features.

It earns a 6/10 safety score from our experts.

Those features are helpful because rear visibility is limited, but they are not available on the base 1LT trim. The bigger caveat is that advanced safety features are not standard, so you should not expect the Corvette to match the driver-assistance coverage of a mainstream family car.

Should I buy a 2022 Chevrolet Corvette or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 36.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 91.2% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.48% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.85/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It adds minor updates, a limited-edition IMSA GTLM package, and new exterior colors.

Consider the 2021 if:

• At $64,490, the 2021 costs less than the current year's $67,792 average.
• It delivers stylish, fun-to-drive value with a removable roof panel.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $77,794, the 2023 costs more than the current year's $67,792 average.
• It pushes the Corvette closer to a world-class exotic with stronger performance and sharper presence.

The bottom line: If you want the best balance of price, inventory, and satisfaction, the 2022 is the smart default. If you’re more price-sensitive, the 2021 is worth a look; if you want the more exotic-feeling upgrade, the 2023 is the step up to compare.
