Used 2022 Cadillac XT6 for Sale nearCincinnati, OH

How much does the 2022 Cadillac XT6 cost?

Prices have softened 13.81% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,026 listings available, which gives you a solid pool to compare prices and equipment.

Is the 2022 Cadillac XT6 a good car?

Yes — the 2022 Cadillac XT6 earns a 5/5 user rating and a 6.33/10 expert rating. The standout strength is Safety at 10/10.

It is a midsize, three-row crossover that sits between the XT5 and the Escalade, so you’re looking at a family-oriented luxury SUV with a clear role in Cadillac’s lineup. The ride quality is a highlight, and the technology is described as impressive, but the XT6 is also held back by uninspired styling, fairly pedestrian performance, and a cramped third row.

The XT6’s market position is supported by 35.2% of listings being priced as good or great deals.

Is the 2022 Cadillac XT6 reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The XT6 is presented as a refined, well-equipped luxury crossover rather than a high-strung performance SUV, and that generally points you toward a calmer ownership experience. Its expert evaluation also emphasizes a quiet, composed ride and a cabin that feels solidly put together, even if the overall package is more about comfort than excitement.

The performance notes also suggest a durable, everyday-friendly setup: the V6 is described as sufficiently powerful, and the drivetrain is filtered through substantial sound deadening and isolation. If you’re shopping used, the main long-term risk is that the XT6’s premium tech and driver-assistance features may be more expensive to live with if they need attention.

What should I look for when buying a used 2022 Cadillac XT6?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 77.3% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still run a history report on every candidate and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if the vehicle has advanced driver-assistance equipment or higher-mileage luxury features. Focus on overall condition, interior wear, and whether the tech and safety systems operate as intended.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: Cadillac sells the XT6 in Luxury, Premium Luxury, and Sport trim levels. The base Luxury trim uses the turbocharged four-cylinder, while Premium Luxury and Sport bring the V6 and a more upscale feel; the Premium Luxury test vehicle also showed how much the cabin can improve with richer materials and available features.
• Powertrain: The standard engine is a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder with 235 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque, while Premium Luxury and Sport use a 3.6-liter V6 with 310 hp and 271 lb-ft. All-wheel drive is available with either engine, and the V6 is the better fit if you want stronger everyday response.
• Safety package: Standard features include forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, lane-departure warning, and lane-keeping assist. Adaptive cruise control and semi-autonomous park assist are available, and the available Super Cruise system is the headline feature.
• Infotainment: The XT6 uses an 8-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, connected services, WiFi hotspot access, and available embedded navigation. It also supports natural voice recognition, though the screen size is modest for the class.
• Fuel efficiency: The V6 with AWD is rated at 21 mpg in combined driving, and the test route returned 19.5 mpg.

Which 2022 Cadillac XT6 trim should I buy?

The 2022 Cadillac XT6 is offered in 3 trim levels: Luxury, Premium Luxury, Sport.

Here's the short version:

• Luxury: This is the entry point, and it’s the one to choose if you want the XT6’s core three-row layout and standard turbocharged four-cylinder without paying for the V6. It makes the most sense if you’re focused on getting into the model at the lowest price, but it’s also the least richly equipped version.
• Premium Luxury: This is the best-value trim for most shoppers because it pairs the V6 with the more upscale cabin presentation and the kind of equipment that makes the XT6 feel like a true luxury SUV. It’s the trim that best matches the model’s comfort-first personality.
• Sport: Choose this if you want the V6 and the sportier appearance and chassis-oriented setup described in the test data. It’s the right pick if you care more about the XT6’s sharper side than about value.

The available safety package is a strong point across the lineup, and Super Cruise is the standout feature to look for if you want the most advanced driver-assistance setup.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2022 Cadillac XT6?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you have room to shop carefully and compare listings.

• Deal availability: 35.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,026 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.81% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 77.3% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $29,407, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2022 Cadillac XT6's resale value?

The current average of $29,407 sits slightly below last year's $34,119.

That decline suggests the XT6 has become more accessible for used buyers, which can make it harder for a future seller to command top-dollar pricing right away. If you buy at the current average or below, you’re starting from a more favorable cost basis than buyers who paid closer to last year’s level.

The XT6’s broad appeal as a three-row luxury crossover should help keep demand steady, especially for well-kept examples with desirable equipment. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2022 Cadillac XT6 safe?

The 2022 Cadillac XT6 earns a Top Safety Pick+ rating from the IIHS and five-star ratings in every NHTSA crash-test evaluation, plus a four-star rollover resistance rating.

It earns a 10/10 safety score from our experts.

The XT6’s standard safety equipment includes forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, lane-departure warning, and lane-keeping assist. Adaptive cruise control and semi-autonomous park assist are available, and the available Super Cruise system is the headline driver-assistance feature.

One caveat is that Super Cruise is impressive but not flawless, so you should treat it as an aid rather than a substitute for attention. The system can struggle with lane markings, traffic changes, and certain lighting conditions, so you still need to stay ready to take over.

Should I buy a 2022 Cadillac XT6 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 35.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 77.3% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.81% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2022 stands out for its strong safety ratings and available Super Cruise technology.

Consider the 2021 if:

• At $26,254, the 2021 costs less than the current year's $29,407 average.
• It offers refinement and confidence behind the wheel.

The bottom line: If you want the stronger overall package, the 2022 is the better target because it combines softer pricing, strong safety, and a broad used-car inventory. If your priority is spending less up front, the 2021 is the smarter value play, especially if you find one in good condition with the equipment you want.
