Is the 2022 Audi Q5 Sportback a good car?

Yes — the 4.5/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction for this model year. That kind of score suggests you’re looking at a vehicle that has generally met expectations for shoppers who already own one. 40.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which adds to the appeal if you’re shopping carefully.

Is the 2022 Audi Q5 Sportback reliable?

For used buyers, that kind of owner feedback suggests lower ownership risk than you might expect from a premium vehicle, though condition and maintenance history still matter a lot.

What should I look for when buying a used 2022 Audi Q5 Sportback?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 89.7% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if the listing price is near the low end of the market. Focus on exterior condition, interior wear, and signs of inconsistent maintenance so you can separate a clean example from one that has been neglected.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2022 Audi Q5 Sportback?

This looks like a buyer-friendly market, with enough inventory and enough discounting to give you room to compare listings before you commit.

• Deal availability: 40.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 370 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.23% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $27,346, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2022 Audi Q5 Sportback's resale value?

The current average of $27,493 sits slightly below last year's $30,628.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help future buyers but may limit short-term upside for sellers. If you plan to resell later, buying well now matters because your eventual trade-in or private-sale value will depend heavily on how much room you have between purchase price and market average. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2022 Audi Q5 Sportback or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 40.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 89.7% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.23% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line:

If you want the strongest mix of value, inventory, and owner satisfaction, the 2022 is the primary year to target. If you’re especially price-sensitive, keep an eye on listings near the low end of the range and compare them against nearby model years to see whether a small step up or down in price gets you a meaningfully better deal.
