Used 2021 Toyota Camry for Sale nearEl Paso, TX

How much does the 2021 Toyota Camry cost?

Prices have softened 1.30% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 3,235 listings available, which suggests you should have a workable range of choices.

Is the 2021 Toyota Camry a good car?

Yes — the 2021 Toyota Camry earns a 4.65/5 user rating and a 7.83/10 expert rating. The model scores 9/10 across Performance and Safety.

Drivers consistently praise its smooth ride, great handling, stylish design, fuel efficiency, and reliable performance. In practical terms, that lines up with a sedan that works well as a daily commuter, family car, or all-around midsize choice.

The trade-offs are familiar ones: the infotainment system feels dated, and road noise can rise at higher speeds. Even so, the Camry’s comfortable, spacious layout and broad powertrain lineup make it easy to match to your needs, especially if you want a practical sedan with more flexibility than many rivals.

Only 32.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals, so the best examples may not linger long.

Is the 2021 Toyota Camry reliable?

Owners rate it 4.65/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

User feedback points to reliable performance, and the ownership story is reinforced by the Camry’s reputation for dependable, trouble-free use over time. The expert evaluation also describes Toyota’s reliability reputation as a major strength, which fits the Camry’s long-standing appeal for buyers who want something they can count on.

Toyota’s warranty coverage is average for the class, so the main ownership advantage is the model’s durability reputation rather than unusually long factory protection. For used buyers, that means condition and maintenance history matter more than hoping for extra warranty cushion.

What should I look for when buying a used 2021 Toyota Camry?

At 59.7% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle-history report and then prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if the car has had bodywork, multiple owners, or inconsistent service records. Focus on signs of wear that could affect long-term ownership, including interior condition, tire wear, brake feel, and any evidence of neglected maintenance.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: LE and XLE models get a cleaner grille, while SE, XSE, and TRD trims add more aggressive styling details and visual clutter. The base LE also starts with 17-inch alloy wheels, and the TRD stands apart with unique styling elements like a larger rear spoiler.
• Powertrain: You can shop a 2.5-liter four-cylinder, a 3.5-liter V6, or a hybrid setup. The four-cylinder is the base engine, the V6 brings the strongest output, and the hybrid is the efficiency play.
• Safety package: Toyota Safety Sense 2.5+ is standard and includes adaptive cruise control, automatic emergency braking, forward-collision warning with pedestrian detection, lane-departure warning, automatic high beams, and traffic-sign recognition. Blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert are standard on XLE and XSE, but optional on LE and SE.
• Infotainment: The standard setup uses a 7-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Amazon Alexa, Bluetooth, Siri Eyes Free, and SiriusXM. Higher trims upgrade to a 9-inch screen, WiFi for five devices, navigation, and a nine-speaker JBL system.
• Fuel efficiency: The four-cylinder LE and SE return 32 mpg combined with FWD and 29 mpg combined with AWD. The V6 is rated at 26 mpg combined in XLE form, and the hybrid reaches a maximum 52 mpg combined.

Which 2021 Toyota Camry trim should I buy?

The 2021 Toyota Camry is offered in 6 trim levels: LE, XLE, SE, SE Nightshade Edition, XSE, and TRD.

Here's the short version:

• LE: This is the best-value starting point if you want the Camry’s core strengths without paying for extras. You still get the standard safety suite, the 7-inch touchscreen, and the base four-cylinder powertrain, making it the most straightforward choice for shoppers who care more about value than flash.
• SE: This trim adds a sportier look and sits near the middle of the lineup, which makes it a sensible step up if you want more style without jumping to the pricier upper trims. It also keeps the Camry’s practical strengths intact while giving you a more distinctive appearance.
• SE Nightshade Edition: This version builds on the SE with blacked-out exterior trim and wheels. It is the pick if you want the SE’s balance but prefer a darker, more customized look.
• XLE: This is the comfort-leaning choice, and it also brings standard blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert. If you want a more upscale Camry with added convenience and safety equipment, this is the trim to target.
• XSE: This trim combines a more premium feel with stronger equipment, including the available 10-inch head-up display and standard blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert. It suits you if you want a richer feature set and a more upscale presentation.
• TRD: This is the enthusiast pick, with the V6 and chassis upgrades that include lowered suspension, stiffer springs and sway bars, TRD shocks, bigger brakes, and available summer tires. Choose it if you want the Camry with the most performance-focused character.

Blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert are standard on the XLE and XSE, but optional on the LE and SE.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2021 Toyota Camry?

This is a moderate, selective-buyer market, so you should shop carefully and be ready to move when a strong listing appears.

• Deal availability: 32.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 3,235 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 1.30% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 59.7% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $20,989, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2021 Toyota Camry's resale value?

The current average of $21,816 sits slightly below last year's $22,104.

That modest decline suggests the Camry is holding value reasonably well, but not aggressively appreciating. For a future seller, that means your return will depend heavily on mileage, condition, trim, and whether the car has a clean history.

Because the market has softened a bit, a well-kept Camry with desirable equipment should still attract steady interest. Strong reputation, broad appeal, and practical features help support demand even when prices ease.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.65/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2021 Toyota Camry safe?

The 2021 Toyota Camry earns a Top Safety Pick+ rating from IIHS and five-star ratings from NHTSA in front, side, and rollover crash tests.

It earns a 9/10 safety score from our experts.

Toyota Safety Sense 2.5+ is standard, and it includes adaptive cruise control, automatic emergency braking, forward-collision warning with pedestrian detection, lane-departure warning, automatic high beams, and traffic-sign recognition. Toyota also adds Rear Seat Reminder on all trim levels.

Blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert are standard on XLE and XSE, but optional on LE and SE. That means lower trims still get a strong standard safety package, but you may want to step up or add options if those extra driver aids matter to you.

Should I buy a 2021 Toyota Camry or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2021 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2021 if:

• 32.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 59.7% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 1.30% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.65/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• Toyota added new infotainment displays and upgraded the safety package for this year.

Consider the 2020 if:

• At $20,006, the 2020 costs less than the current year's $21,816 average.
• It adds all-wheel drive and the TRD performance trim.

Consider the 2022 if:

• At $23,116, the 2022 costs more than the current year's $21,816 average.
• It remains a roomy, reliable, efficient, and safe mainstream sedan.

The bottom line: the 2021 is the sweet spot if you want the updated safety and infotainment changes without paying the next-year premium. If price is your top priority, the 2020 can save you money, while the 2022 makes sense if you find a cleaner or better-equipped example at a fair price.
