About 2021 Rolls-Royce Cullinan
Overview

When a Land Rover Range Rover or Mercedes-Benz G-Class isn’t nice or exclusive enough for you, the Rolls-Royce Cullinan is your answer. This exorbitantly priced SUV arrived for the 2019 model year, so there are no significant changes for 2021.
Under the massive hood of every Cullinan sits a twin-turbocharged 6.75-liter V12, paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission. In the Base specification, with 563 horsepower and 627 pound-feet of torque on tap. The Black Badge trim bumps that up to 600 hp and 627 lb-ft. All-wheel drive (AWD) and four-corner air suspension are standard. The latter scans road imperfections using a camera and GPS data several times a second to anticipate and muffle bumps.
Like every Rolls-Royce, features are plentiful on the Base trim: 22-inch alloy wheels, a digital instrument cluster, laser headlights, LED rear lights, power closing doors, a panoramic sunroof, leather upholstery, a 10-speaker audio system, and a retractable hood ornament. Meanwhile, the Black Badge comes with red brake calipers, a unique 22-inch wheel design, black chrome exterior trim, larger brakes, and red brake calipers. From there, Rolls-Royce lets you customize the Cullinan to your heart’s content. One particularly interesting feature is the Viewing Suite, which comprises a pair of leather-wrapped seats and a small table that folds out from the floor to transform the cargo area into the ultimate tailgating tool.
There is plenty of safety in the Cullinan’s gargantuan proportions; nevertheless, it includes a bevy of safety items, including forward-collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, adaptive cruise control, night vision, lane-keeping assist, blind-spot monitoring, a parking assistant, and a 360-degree camera system. Like most cars at this end of the pricing spectrum, the Cullinan hasn’t been evaluated for crash safety by any outside agency.
The Rolls-Royce Cullinan is simply the last word when it comes to a luxury SUV.
