Used 2021 Porsche Panamera for Sale nearIrvine, CA

How much does the 2021 Porsche Panamera cost?

Prices have softened 2.00% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 189 listings available, which gives you a modest amount of inventory to compare before you buy.

Is the 2021 Porsche Panamera a good car?

Yes — you’re looking at a 5/5 user-rated car with an expert rating of 7.33/10. The standout strength is Performance at 9/10.

The 2021 Panamera stands out because it blends Porsche’s sports-car character with the practicality of a four-door sedan. It also gets powertrain and suspension upgrades, new tires, a reshuffled model lineup, and subtle styling changes for 2021, while still giving you V6, V8, and plug-in hybrid powertrains plus rear-wheel drive or all-wheel drive.

The main trade-off is that it is not a pure sports car, and a manual transmission is not available. It also sits in a pricing structure that quickly climbs into the six-figure range, so value is not its strongest suit.

Good and great deals account for 33.3% of listings, which suggests you can still find worthwhile opportunities if you shop carefully.

Is the 2021 Porsche Panamera reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The Panamera’s appeal is reinforced by its broad engineering focus: Porsche gives you multiple powertrains, a dual-clutch automatic transmission, and a chassis tuned to deliver a composed, driver-focused experience. The expert notes also emphasize that the car’s electronics and driver aids work together cleanly rather than feeling intrusive, which supports confidence in day-to-day use.

On the ownership side, Porsche includes a four-year, 50,000-mile new vehicle warranty, but it does not include free scheduled maintenance. For used buyers, that means long-term ownership risk is less about the car’s character and more about budgeting for premium upkeep.

What should I look for when buying a used 2021 Porsche Panamera?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 82.5% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still run a history report on any listing you like, then prioritize a pre-purchase inspection because this is a premium car with a lot of expensive hardware. Focus on condition, service records, and whether the equipment on the car matches what you want, since options can change the ownership experience a lot.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: Base models get eight-way power adjustable front seats with a driver memory package, while Turbo S models get standard 18-way adjustable seats with full leather upholstery. The Panamera GTS adds 14-way adjustable front sport seats with extra bolstering and a more characterful cabin feel.
• Powertrain: You can choose a 2.9-liter twin-turbocharged V6, a 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8, or plug-in hybrid setups that pair an electric motor with the V6 or V8. The lineup also uses Porsche’s PDK eight-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.
• Safety package: Standard safety features include lane-keep assist, parking sensors, and traffic sign recognition. Blind-spot monitoring and adaptive cruise control cost extra, and Porsche’s InnoDrive system adds more automation through navigation integration.
• Infotainment: You get a 12.3-inch central touchscreen, reconfigurable digital displays, Bluetooth, wireless Apple CarPlay, and wired Android Auto.
• Fuel efficiency: Base six-cylinder models are rated at 20 mpg combined, the V8 costs a couple of mpg versus that figure, and the Panamera 4 E-Hybrid is rated at 52 MPGe combined with 19 miles of electric range. In hybrid mode, it is rated at 22 mpg combined.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2021 Porsche Panamera?

This is a moderate market, so you can shop selectively without expecting a deep buyer’s market.

• Deal availability: 33.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 189 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 2.00% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 82.5% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $60,925, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2021 Porsche Panamera's resale value?

The current average of $64,055 sits slightly below last year's $65,359.

That modest decline suggests the market has eased a bit, which can help you buy more confidently now. For a future seller, the current pricing trend implies that the Panamera is holding value reasonably well for a premium performance sedan, but not appreciating. If you buy well and keep the car in strong condition, you should be better positioned when it’s time to resell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2021 Porsche Panamera safe?

It earns a 6/10 safety score from our experts.

Standard safety features include lane-keep assist, parking sensors, and traffic sign recognition. You’ll need to pay extra for blind-spot monitoring and adaptive cruise control, and Porsche’s InnoDrive system adds more automation through navigation integration.

The main caveat is that the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety and the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration haven’t published safety ratings for this model year. That leaves you relying more heavily on the car’s equipment list and your own inspection of the specific vehicle you’re considering.

Should I buy a 2021 Porsche Panamera or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2021 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2021 if:

• 33.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 82.5% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 2.00% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2021 model gets powertrain and suspension upgrades, new tires, a reshuffled lineup, and subtle styling changes.

The bottom line: If you want the most current version of this generation’s Panamera with updated hardware and a broad range of configurations, the 2021 is the one to target. If you’re mainly focused on stretching your budget, a nearby year may be worth considering, but the 2021’s updates and softened pricing make it the cleaner choice for many shoppers.
