Used 2021 Nissan Rogue for Sale nearTulsa, OK

How much does the 2021 Nissan Rogue cost?

Prices have softened 10.70% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 4,045 listings available, which suggests solid inventory for comparison shopping.

Is the 2021 Nissan Rogue a good car?

Yes — the 2021 Nissan Rogue earns 5/5 from owners and a 9/10 expert rating. The standout strength is Technology at 10/10.

Owners consistently praise the smooth and refined ride, impressive features, roomy interior, attractive design, and value for the price. That lines up well with the Rogue’s use case as a comfortable, everyday compact crossover that feels more polished than many shoppers expect.

The main trade-offs are fairly pedestrian performance and a stereo that falls short. Even so, the Rogue’s premium-feeling cabin and comfort-focused character make it a strong fit if you value livability over excitement. Good and great deals account for 35.3% of listings, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2021 Nissan Rogue reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback points to a vehicle that feels smooth, refined, and trouble-free enough to earn strong repeat approval. The expert evaluation also describes the CVT as a good one because you barely notice it, and the overall package is presented as a modern compact crossover that makes strong sense for everyday use.

Nissan does not offer a free maintenance program, so long-term ownership costs will depend more on how well the vehicle has been maintained than on any built-in service perk. For used buyers, that makes service records and condition especially important.

What should I look for when buying a used 2021 Nissan Rogue?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 75.4% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still check the vehicle history report carefully, because accident-free listings are common but not guaranteed. Prioritize a pre-purchase inspection that focuses on cabin condition, electronics, and how smoothly the drivetrain operates in real-world driving. It also makes sense to compare trim equipment closely, since the Rogue’s feature set changes meaningfully as you move up the lineup.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The S trim starts with an 8-inch touchscreen, while higher trims add more connected features and luxury touches. The Platinum trim brings the most upscale cabin presentation, including quilted semi-aniline leather, contrast stitching, and ambient lighting.
• Powertrain: The Rogue uses a direct-injected 2.5-liter four-cylinder with 181 horsepower and 181 pound-feet of torque, paired with a CVT. Available all-wheel drive and Snow and Off-Road driving modes can help if you expect rough weather or light trail use.
• Safety package: Nissan Safety Shield 360 is standard and includes automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, lane-departure warning, blind-spot warning, and rear cross-traffic alert. ProPilot Assist with lane-centering is standard starting with the SV, and the SV also adds a surround-view camera system.
• Infotainment: The S trim gets an 8-inch touchscreen with Bluetooth, SiriusXM satellite radio, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto. Higher trims can add NissanConnect Services, a WiFi hotspot, wireless Apple CarPlay, a 9-inch touchscreen, navigation, a Bose premium audio system, wireless smartphone charging, a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, and a 10.8-inch head-up display.
• Fuel efficiency: The tested front-wheel-drive SL returned 27.5 mpg on a mixed driving loop.

Which 2021 Nissan Rogue trim should I buy?

The 2021 Nissan Rogue is offered in 4 trim levels: Rogue S, Rogue SV, Rogue SL, Rogue Platinum.

Here's the short version:

• Rogue S: This is the entry point and the best fit if you want the lowest-cost way into the redesigned Rogue. You still get the core infotainment setup, including the 8-inch touchscreen, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and the standard safety suite.
• Rogue SV: This is the best-value trim for many shoppers because it adds NissanConnect Services, a WiFi hotspot, Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant integration, ProPilot Assist, and a surround-view camera system.
• Rogue SL: This trim is the right step up if you want a more upscale feel without going all the way to Platinum. It can be paired with a Premium Package, and it adds more luxury-oriented equipment and a stronger premium presentation.
• Rogue Platinum: This is the top choice if you want the most technology and the most upscale cabin. It adds the largest screen setup, navigation, wireless Apple CarPlay, premium audio, wireless charging, a digital instrument cluster, and a head-up display.

Safety Shield 360 is standard across the lineup, while ProPilot Assist starts with the SV and the upgraded Navi-link version is reserved for the SL Premium Package and Platinum.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2021 Nissan Rogue?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently but should move quickly on the right listing.

• Deal availability: 35.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 4,045 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.70% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 75.4% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $18,518, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2021 Nissan Rogue's resale value?

The current average of $18,518 sits slightly below last year's $20,738.

That price movement suggests the Rogue has already absorbed a meaningful amount of depreciation, which can help future sellers if they buy at the right price today. A softer market now can also make it easier to find a well-equipped example without paying peak pricing.

If demand stays steady, a comfortable, well-reviewed compact crossover like this one should remain appealing to used shoppers. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2021 Nissan Rogue safe?

The 2021 Nissan Rogue earns Top Safety Pick+ recognition from IIHS and five-star ratings from NHTSA.

It earns a 9/10 safety score from our experts.

Every Rogue comes with Nissan Safety Shield 360, which includes automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, lane-departure warning, blind-spot warning, and rear cross-traffic alert. Nissan also adds ten airbags, a driver monitoring system, and a rear-seat reminder system. ProPilot Assist with lane-centering is standard starting with the SV, and the SV also adds a surround-view camera system.

The main caveat is that ProPilot Assist can still behave in unanticipated ways and can issue frequent audible notifications. The upgraded Navi-link version can also slow the SUV too much in some situations.

Should I buy a 2021 Nissan Rogue or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2021 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2021 if:

• 35.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 75.4% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.70% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The redesign brings a premium-feeling interior, strong tech, and a much more polished overall character.

Consider the 2020 if:

• At $15,385, the 2020 costs less than the current year's $18,518 average.
• It remains practical and easy to live with.

Consider the 2022 if:

• At $19,600, the 2022 costs more than the current year's $18,518 average.
• It adds a new turbocharged engine and a more efficient mechanical setup.

The bottom line: If you want the most polished version of this Rogue generation, the 2021 is the one to target. If your priority is saving money above all else, the 2020 is the cheaper path, while the 2022 makes sense if you want the newer powertrain and can stretch your budget.
