It makes 261 horsepower and 281 pound-feet of torque, sent through a five-speed automatic transmission. A 5.6-liter V8 engine is standard on the 2500 and 3500. It puts out 375 hp and 387 lb-ft of torque, routed through a seven-speed automatic transmission. Both engines route power to rear-wheel drive (RWD). When properly equipped, a V8-powered NV can tow up to 9,400 pounds. It’s also available with various tow prep packages. Base MSRP for the 2021 Nissan NV Cargo van is $30,540. The NV 2500 starts at $31,440. The NV 3500 starts at $36,200. A range-topping NV 3500 SL starts at $39,460. According to Nissan, 2021 will be the last model year for the NV, but will continue to provide fleet support for the van through its “Business Advantage” program.
