Used 2021 Mercedes-Benz GLB for Sale nearPhoenix, AZ

How much does the 2021 Mercedes-Benz GLB cost?

Prices have softened 12.17% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 977 listings available, which gives you a solid amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2021 Mercedes-Benz GLB a good car?

Yes — you’re looking at a 5/5 user-rated SUV with an 8/10 expert rating. The standout strength is Cost effectiveness at 9/10.

The GLB’s appeal comes from its unusual use of space, flexible interior layout, and approachable pricing. It also brings an attractive, capable crossover shape and multiple powertrain options, so you can tailor it to your needs.

The trade-offs are worth weighing: the third row is cramped, the transmission can be irritating, and the seats are uncomfortable. If you want a premium compact SUV that prioritizes versatility and family usefulness, the GLB fits that brief well.

Good and great deals account for 33.6% of listings, which suggests there are still worthwhile opportunities if you shop carefully.

Is the 2021 Mercedes-Benz GLB reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The GLB is positioned as a practical, well-equipped Mercedes-Benz with a flexible cabin and strong technology. Its performance setup is described as decent for family use, with power delivered in a linear, predictable way.

The ownership experience also benefits from the brand’s safety and convenience engineering, including standard active brake assist, adaptive braking technology, crosswind assist, attention assist, and emergency call service. If you choose the right options, the GLB can feel especially well rounded for daily use.

For used buyers, the main long-term risk is that comfort and drivability compromises may matter more as mileage adds up, especially if you plan to use the third row often.

What should I look for when buying a used 2021 Mercedes-Benz GLB?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 83.4% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still check the history report carefully and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if the vehicle has been optioned heavily. Focus on cabin condition, seat comfort, and how the transmission behaves in everyday driving.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The GLB is attractive and taut outside, and the cabin has excellent fit and finish, but the base setup is still fairly modest in screen size and equipment. If you want a more upscale feel, look closely at the packages that add larger displays and richer audio.
• Powertrain: It uses a turbocharged 2.0-liter inline four-cylinder gasoline engine with 221 horsepower and an eight-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. Front-wheel drive is standard, and 4MATIC all-wheel drive is optional.
• Safety package: Standard equipment includes active brake assist, adaptive braking technology with hill-start assist and brake hold, crosswind assist, attention assist, and Mercedes-Benz emergency call service. The Driver Assistance Package adds Distronic adaptive cruise control, steering assist, lane change assist, cross-traffic braking, active speed limit assist, active blind-spot assist, active lane-keeping assist, and Pre-Safe Plus with Pre-Safe Sound.
• Infotainment: Standard tech includes the MBUX system, a 7-inch digital instrument cluster, a 7-inch touchscreen, Bluetooth, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, keyless start, cruise control, and a power liftgate. The Premium Package upgrades the displays to 10.25 inches each, and the Multimedia Package adds navigation, augmented reality navigation, and traffic-sign assist.
• Fuel efficiency: EPA estimates are 23 mpg city, 30 mpg highway, and 26 mpg combined with front-wheel drive, or 23 mpg city, 31 mpg highway, and 26 mpg combined with all-wheel drive.

Which 2021 Mercedes-Benz GLB trim should I buy?

The 2021 Mercedes-Benz GLB is offered in 2 trim levels: GLB 250 and AMG GLB 35 SUV.

Here's the short version:

• GLB 250: This is the trim most shoppers should start with because it delivers the GLB’s core strengths: flexible space, strong technology, and a premium cabin without pushing the price into luxury-performance territory. It’s the best-value choice if you want the GLB’s practicality and upscale feel.
• AMG GLB 35 SUV: This is the enthusiast-oriented choice, with a much higher starting price and a quicker 0-60 mph time. Choose it only if you want the performance-focused version and are willing to pay for it.

The Driver Assistance Package is the key safety-package upgrade to consider if you want the most advanced driver-assistance features.

Should I buy a 2021 Mercedes-Benz GLB or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2021 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2021 if:

• 33.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 83.4% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.17% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It offers flexible seating and an optional third row that expands passenger capacity to seven.

Consider the 2020 if:

• At $20,191, the 2020 costs less than the current year's $22,924 average.
• It emphasizes utility and practicality over style and performance.

Consider the 2022 if:

• At $25,827, the 2022 costs more than the current year's $22,924 average.
• It adds more performance, technology, and luxury upgrades while keeping seating for up to seven.

The bottom line: If you want the best balance of price, inventory, and the GLB’s unique space advantage, the 2021 is the smart default. If you’re especially price-sensitive, the 2020 is the value play; if you want the newer-feeling upgrade path, look to the 2022.
