How much does the 2021 Lincoln Corsair cost?

Is the 2021 Lincoln Corsair a good car?

Yes — the 2021 Lincoln Corsair earns a 5/5 user rating and a 7.8/10 expert rating. The standout strength is Safety at 9/10.

The Corsair’s appeal comes from its stylish design, premium interior materials, and powerful engine, and it fits especially well if you want a compact luxury SUV with a distinctive domestic identity. The main trade-offs are a sluggish touchscreen response and the fact that advanced safety features are not standard.

With 36.6% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have a decent chance of finding a competitive price if you shop carefully.

Is the 2021 Lincoln Corsair reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The Corsair’s new platform and refreshed identity help it feel more competitive than Lincoln’s earlier small SUVs, and the expert review also points to a strong overall package rather than a compromised first effort. Its standard tech and safety features are part of that appeal, and the available plug-in hybrid broadens the lineup further.

The 2021 Corsair’s biggest long-term ownership risk for used buyers is making sure you choose a well-kept example with the equipment and condition you want, since higher-spec features can materially change the ownership experience.

What should I look for when buying a used 2021 Lincoln Corsair?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 81.4% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still run a history report on any candidate and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if the vehicle has higher mileage or optional equipment. Focus on overall condition, feature operation, and whether the trim level matches the equipment you expect for the price.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Standard trim includes 18-inch alloy wheels, a power rear liftgate, a 10-speaker premium stereo, dual-zone climate control, 10-way power-adjustable front seats, heated front seats, synthetic leather upholstery, and an 8-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The Standard I sub-trim adds ambient cabin lighting, power-folding rear seats, and voice-activated navigation. The Reserve adds 19-inch aluminum-alloy wheels, a 12.3-inch fully digital instrument panel, a 14-speaker Revel premium stereo system, genuine leather upholstery, a hands-free power liftgate, and a large panoramic moonroof.
• Powertrain: The base engine is a 2.0-liter EcoBoost turbocharged four-cylinder with 250 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque, paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission and available with FWD or AWD. The lineup also includes a 2.3-liter EcoBoost turbocharged four-cylinder with 295 hp and 310 lb-ft of torque, paired exclusively with AWD, and a Grand Touring plug-in hybrid that combines a turbocharged 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine, a CVT, battery power, and a pair of electric motors for a combined 266 hp.
• Safety package: Standard equipment includes forward-collision warning, automatic emergency braking, pedestrian detection, lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, automatic high beams, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and rear parking sensors. Lincoln CoPilot360 Plus adds adaptive LED headlights, surround-view parking cameras, front parking sensors, speed-limit sign recognition, stop-and-go adaptive cruise control, reverse automatic braking, and automatic parking assist. Some advanced safety features are not standard.
• Infotainment: The Corsair comes standard with an 8-inch touchscreen running SYNC 3, plus Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The system is described as easy to use, and the Reserve test model also had wireless device charging, a 14-speaker Revel premium audio system, and a head-up display.
• Fuel efficiency: The most efficient version returns 22 mpg city, 29 highway, and 25 combined with the 2.0-liter engine and FWD. The AWD 2.0-liter version returns 21 mpg city, 29 highway, and 24 combined. The AWD 2.3-liter version returns 21 mpg city, 28 highway, and 24 combined. The plug-in hybrid is rated at 78 MPGe in electric mode and 33 mpg combined in hybrid mode.

Which 2021 Lincoln Corsair trim should I buy?

The 2021 Lincoln Corsair is offered in 3 trim levels: Standard, Reserve, and Grand Touring.

Here's the short version:

• Standard: This is the entry point, but it still gives you a strong equipment list with heated front seats, synthetic leather upholstery, an 8-inch touchscreen, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and a power rear liftgate. It makes sense if you want the Corsair’s style and core luxury feel without stretching for extras.
• Reserve: This is the best-value trim if you want the Corsair to feel properly upscale. It adds the 12.3-inch digital instrument panel, 14-speaker Revel audio, genuine leather upholstery, a hands-free power liftgate, and a panoramic moonroof, which makes the cabin feel much richer.
• Grand Touring: This is the trim to choose if you want the plug-in hybrid powertrain and the most feature-rich setup in the lineup. It builds on the higher-end equipment and adds the electrified drivetrain, making it the most specialized choice.

The safety package is strong across the lineup, but some advanced driver aids are bundled into higher equipment rather than being standard.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2021 Lincoln Corsair?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you’re patient.

• Deal availability: 36.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,408 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 15.35% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 81.4% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $22,390, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2021 Lincoln Corsair's resale value?

The current average of $22,390 sits slightly below last year's $26,450.

That price movement suggests the Corsair has become more accessible to used buyers, which can help demand from shoppers who want a luxury SUV without paying new-car money. For a future seller, that also means your resale outcome will depend heavily on condition, mileage, and equipment level.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2021 Lincoln Corsair safe?

The 2021 Lincoln Corsair is an Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) Top Safety Pick Plus. This accolade applies when equipped with the high-feature headlights in the Reserve II package.

It earns a 9/10 safety score from our experts.

The standard safety suite includes forward-collision warning, automatic emergency braking, pedestrian detection, lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, automatic high beams, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and rear parking sensors. Lincoln CoPilot360 Plus adds adaptive LED headlights, surround-view parking cameras, front parking sensors, speed-limit sign recognition, stop-and-go adaptive cruise control, reverse automatic braking, and automatic parking assist.

One important caveat is that advanced safety features are not standard, so you should confirm exactly which package and headlights a used example has before you buy.

Should I buy a 2021 Lincoln Corsair or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2021 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2021 if:

• 36.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 81.4% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 15.35% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2021 adds a range-topping plug-in hybrid to the lineup.

Consider the 2020 if:

• At $21,208, the 2020 costs less than the current year's $22,390 average.
• It emphasizes style and a quiet cabin.

The bottom line: If you want the stronger overall market position, the 2021 is the better pick because it combines lower prices than last year, solid inventory, and the expanded powertrain lineup. If your priority is spending less up front, the 2020 can still make sense, but you should weigh its first-year concerns against the savings.
