Used 2021 INFINITI QX80 for Sale near Mississippi

How much does the 2021 INFINITI QX80 cost?

Prices have softened 12.94% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 479 listings available, which gives you a modest amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2021 INFINITI QX80 a good car?

With a 3.8/5 user rating and a 7.33/10 expert rating, the 2021 INFINITI QX80 looks appealing if you want a large luxury SUV that leans into comfort and capability rather than modern polish. The model scores 8/10 across Look and feel and Performance.

Owners most often praise the comfortable ride, premium interior materials, and spacious cabin. Those strengths line up with the QX80’s full-size, upscale mission and its focus on a smooth, relaxed driving experience.

The trade-offs are clear: the expert review calls out poor fuel economy, poor handling, and poor value for money. That means you should shop it as a comfort-and-presence SUV, not as the most efficient or most agile choice in the class.

With 38.6% of listings marked as good or great deals, the market gives you some room to find a well-priced example.

Is the 2021 INFINITI QX80 reliable?

The 2021 INFINITI QX80 is built around a body-on-frame layout and a proven V8 powertrain, which supports its reputation for durability-minded ownership. Owners also describe it as reliable, comfortable, and refined, with feedback pointing to a smooth driving experience and a trouble-free feel for many examples.

The expert review also notes that the QX80’s mechanical setup is straightforward for a large SUV, and Infiniti backs it with a four-year, 60,000-mile basic warranty and a six-year, 70,000-mile powertrain warranty. That said, used buyers should still watch for wear items, cosmetic issues, and signs that the vehicle has been used hard, since long-term ownership costs can rise quickly on a big luxury SUV.

What should I look for when buying a used 2021 INFINITI QX80?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 76% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still run a history report on any candidate, even if it looks clean on the lot. Prioritize a pre-purchase inspection that checks the suspension, brakes, electronics, and signs of heavy use, since this is a large luxury SUV that can rack up expensive repairs if it has been neglected. Focus on overall condition, because cosmetic wear and missing equipment can matter more than mileage alone on a vehicle like this.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base Luxe trim rides on 20-inch wheels, while Premium Select and Sensory models get 22-inch wheels. The interior is dressed up with wood trim, contrast stitching, and standard leather upholstery, with perforated semi-aniline leather on Sensory models.
• Powertrain: All models use a 5.6-liter V8 with a seven-speed automatic transmission. Rear-wheel drive is standard, and four-wheel drive is available. The engine makes 400 horsepower and 413 pound-feet of torque.
• Safety package: Standard equipment includes adaptive cruise control, blind-spot monitoring, lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, and Backup Collision Intervention.
• Infotainment: The standard setup uses 8.0-inch upper and 7.0-inch lower touchscreens, plus Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, navigation, a built-in WiFi hotspot, Bluetooth, SiriusXM satellite radio, and a 13-speaker Bose audio system.
• Fuel efficiency: EPA ratings are 16 mpg combined, 14 mpg city, and 20 mpg highway with rear-wheel drive, or 15 mpg combined, 13 mpg city, and 19 mpg highway with four-wheel drive.

Which 2021 INFINITI QX80 trim should I buy?

The 2021 INFINITI QX80 is offered in 3 trim levels: Luxe, Premium Select, and Sensory.

Here's the short version:

• Luxe: This is the entry point, and it gives you the core QX80 experience with the standard V8, leather upholstery, and the full suite of standard driver-assistance features. It makes sense if you want the lowest-cost path into the model.
• Premium Select: This trim adds a more upscale look and the larger 22-inch wheels, making it the best-value choice if you want a nicer appearance without jumping all the way to the top trim.
• Sensory: This is the most luxurious version, with perforated semi-aniline leather, 22-inch wheels, and the most premium presentation in the lineup. It suits you best if you want the richest cabin and don’t mind paying more for it.

The standard safety package is generous across the lineup, so you do not need to move up trims just to get the core driver-assistance features.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2021 INFINITI QX80?

This looks like a selective buyer’s market, with enough inventory and deal activity to reward careful shoppers.

• Deal availability: 38.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 479 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.94% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 76.0% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $28,570, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2021 INFINITI QX80's resale value?

The current average of $28,570 sits slightly below last year's $32,816.

That decline suggests the QX80 has already absorbed a meaningful chunk of depreciation, which can help you as a buyer. If you plan to sell later, the same trend means you should expect resale value to depend heavily on condition, mileage, and equipment.

Because this is a large luxury SUV with a softer market position, well-kept examples should hold up better than neglected ones. A clean history and desirable trim can make a bigger difference than you might expect when it comes time to trade or sell.

Is the 2021 INFINITI QX80 safe?

The 2021 INFINITI QX80 earns a four-star overall rating from NHTSA, with five-star ratings in side crash tests, four-star ratings in frontal crash tests, and a three-star rollover rating.

It earns a 7/10 safety score from our experts.

Standard driver assistance includes adaptive cruise control, blind-spot monitoring, lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, and Backup Collision Intervention. That’s a strong standard safety list for the class, even if the QX80’s crash-test results are mixed.

Should I buy a 2021 INFINITI QX80 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2021 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2021 if:

• 38.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 76% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.94% compared with last year.
• The 2021 adds a refreshed Smart Rearview Mirror and a reshuffled trim lineup.

Consider the 2020 if:

• At $22,392, the 2020 costs less than the current year's $28,570 average.
• It emphasizes comfort and capability with a more luxurious feel than the Armada.

Consider the 2022 if:

• At $36,121, the 2022 costs more than the current year's $28,570 average.
• It adds a larger 12.3-inch display with wireless Apple CarPlay and more modern tech.

The bottom line: The 2021 is the right pick if you want the best balance of price, standard safety, and full-size luxury capability. If your budget is tighter, the 2020 can save you money, while the 2022 is the better move if you want the newer tech refresh and can stretch for it.
