The 2021 Hyundai Elantra Hybrid blends the frugality and sensibility of a compact car with the efficiency of a hybrid powertrain. This marks the first year of the hybrid variant for the Elantra. The Blue trim is more efficiency-focused and makes less power, at 104 hp and 109 lb-ft of torque. Regardless of trim, the Elantra Hybrid routes power to the front wheels through a six-speed dual-clutch transmission. The EPA rates fuel economy at 49 mpg city, 52 mpg highway, and 50 mpg combined. The Elantra Hybrid Blue returns 53 mpg city, 56 mpg highway, and 54 mpg combined. The 2021 Hyundai Elantra Hybrid has a base MSRP of $23,550 for the Blue trim. The Limited starts at $28,100.
