Used 2021 Genesis G70 for Sale nearPhiladelphia, PA

How much does the 2021 Genesis G70 cost?

Prices have softened 8.97% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 295 listings available, which gives you a modest pool of options to compare.

Is the 2021 Genesis G70 a good car?

Yes — the 2021 Genesis G70 earns a 5/5 user rating and an 8.33/10 expert rating. The model scores 9/10 across Look and feel and Safety.

It stands out as an entry-level luxury sport sedan that leans into style and performance, with show-stopping design, premium standard features, and a fun-to-drive personality. The trade-offs are clear: the base engine is underwhelming, the back seat is cramped, and cargo space is limited.

The 32.2% share of good or great deals suggests you can still find attractive pricing if you shop carefully.

Is the 2021 Genesis G70 reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

Genesis positions the G70 as a value-focused luxury sedan with a long warranty, and the expert notes reinforce that it brings solid safety scores and premium standard features. The powertrain lineup also includes strong acceleration and an eight-speed automatic that does its job without complaint.

Genesis also backs the car with a five-year/60,000-mile basic warranty and a 10-year/100,000-mile powertrain warranty, which helps reduce early ownership worry.

For used buyers, the main long-term risk is less about brand-new-car durability and more about finding a well-kept example with the right maintenance history.

What should I look for when buying a used 2021 Genesis G70?

At 71.5% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if you’re considering a higher-mileage or lower-priced example. Focus on overall condition, because this model’s appeal depends heavily on how well it has been maintained and whether its premium features still work as intended.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: Higher configurations get quilted Nappa leather seats and more standard features, while the base setup is more straightforward.
• Powertrain: You can choose between a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder with 252 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque, or a twin-turbo V6 with 365 hp and 376 lb-ft of torque; rear-wheel drive is standard and all-wheel drive is optional.
• Safety package: Standard safety features include blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, lane-keep assist, automatic emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, pedestrian detection, driver attention monitoring, and forward-collision warning.
• Infotainment: Standard equipment includes an 8-inch touchscreen, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, SiriusXM satellite radio, HD radio, and six speakers; available upgrades include a 15-speaker Lexicon audio system, navigation, parking sensors, a head-up display, a surround-view camera system, and wireless device charging.
• Fuel efficiency: The 2.0-liter engine returns 18/28/22 mpg with a manual transmission, 22/30/25 mpg with an automatic, and 20/27/23 mpg with AWD. The 3.3T returns 17/26/20 mpg with RWD and 17/25/20 mpg with AWD.

Which 2021 Genesis G70 trim should I buy?

The 2021 Genesis G70 is offered in 2 trim levels: 2.0T and 3.3T.

Here's the short version:

• 2.0T: This is the value play if you want the G70’s style, premium feel, and standard feature set without paying for the more powerful engine. It still gives you the core luxury-sedan experience, but the base engine is the one most likely to feel underwhelming.
• 3.3T: This is the better choice if you care most about performance. The twin-turbo V6 adds a major jump in power and sportiness, and it’s the trim that best matches the car’s fun-to-drive personality.

The safety package is strong across the lineup, with standard driver-assistance features that already cover the essentials.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2021 Genesis G70?

This looks like a moderate market for selective buyers, with enough inventory and deal activity to reward careful shopping.

• Deal availability: 32.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 295 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.97% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 71.5% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $21,818, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2021 Genesis G70's resale value?

The current average of $22,581 sits slightly below last year's $24,806.

That decline suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy at a more favorable entry point. For a future seller, it also means your resale outcome will depend heavily on condition, mileage, and how well the car is equipped.

Because the G70 is positioned as a stylish, well-equipped luxury sedan with strong value, well-kept examples should remain easier to market than neglected ones. The strongest cars will be the ones that still feel premium and have a clean history.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2021 Genesis G70 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2021 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2021 if:

• 32.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 71.5% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.97% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It keeps the G70’s stylish design, strong value, and fun-to-drive character while adding minor updates for the year.

Consider the 2020 if:

• At $20,275, the 2020 costs less than the current year's $22,581 average.
• It offers a distinctive small luxury-sedan feel with strong value and a premium personality.

Consider the 2022 if:

• At $26,453, the 2022 costs more than the current year's $22,581 average.
• It adds new styling, improved infotainment, and Highway Driving Assist.

The bottom line: If you want the best balance of price, style, and feature content, the 2021 is the sweet spot. If your priority is spending less, the 2020 is the better value path; if you want newer tech and can stretch your budget, the 2022 is the upgrade to compare.
