Used 2021 Cadillac XT6 for Sale nearCincinnati, OH

How much does the 2021 Cadillac XT6 cost?

Prices have softened 14.43% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 925 listings available, which gives you a solid pool to compare prices and equipment.

Is the 2021 Cadillac XT6 a good car?

The 2021 Cadillac XT6 is a qualified pick if you want a three-row luxury SUV that emphasizes refinement, space, and a polished driving feel over outright excitement. It earns a 3.67/5 user rating and a 7.5/10 expert rating.

The model scores 8/10 across Look and feel, Form and function, Technology, and Safety.

Cadillac’s crossover-style alternative to the Escalade brings a spacious third row and impressive technology, and its handling is one of its clear strengths. The trade-offs are just as clear: performance is fairly pedestrian, and the stereo is lacking.

With 35.0% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have some room to shop selectively rather than rush.

Is the 2021 Cadillac XT6 reliable?

The 2021 Cadillac XT6 is positioned as a refined, confidence-inspiring luxury SUV, but its long-term appeal depends on how well you manage ownership costs and condition. The expert test drive data describes it as mostly unchanged for the year, which can be reassuring if you want a familiar package.

Its performance is described as fairly pedestrian, and the overall package leans more toward comfort and technology than mechanical excitement. The cost-effectiveness commentary also suggests you should expect a premium purchase price relative to mainstream three-row SUVs.

For used buyers, that means your biggest long-term risk is paying luxury-SUV money for a vehicle whose upkeep and feature content may not feel equally premium if it has been neglected.

What should I look for when buying a used 2021 Cadillac XT6?

At 71.8% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report and then prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if the listing has been modified or heavily optioned. Focus on overall condition, because the XT6’s value depends heavily on whether the cabin, electronics, and driver-assistance equipment have been kept in good shape.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Luxury trim is the most basic version, while Premium Luxury and Sport add more standard equipment and a more upscale feature set. The base trim lacks the extra standard driver-assistance content that comes on the higher trims.
• Powertrain: The base model uses a 2.0-liter turbo-four, while Premium Luxury and Sport use a 3.6-liter V6 with a nine-speed automatic. The V6 is the stronger choice if you want easier acceleration.
• Safety package: All models include automatic emergency braking, forward-collision alert, following-distance indicator, lane-keep assist with lane-departure warning, a high-definition rearview camera, Safety Alert Seat, IntelliBeam headlights, and rear park assist. Premium Luxury and Sport also add lane change alert with blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert as standard.
• Infotainment: You get an 8.0-inch touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, infotainment user profiles, an eight-speaker Bose audio system, satellite radio, a WiFi hot spot, six USB ports, remote start, and Teen Driver monitoring. The screen is smaller than some rivals’ and can feel crowded.
• Fuel efficiency: The 2.0-liter turbo-four is rated at 21 mpg city, 26 mpg highway, and 23 mpg combined with AWD, or 21 mpg city, 27 mpg highway, and 23 mpg combined with FWD. The 3.6-liter V6 with FWD is rated at 19 mpg city, 26 mpg highway, and 21 mpg combined, while AWD lowers city and highway figures by one mpg each.

Which 2021 Cadillac XT6 trim should I buy?

The 2021 Cadillac XT6 is offered in 3 trim levels: Luxury, Premium Luxury, and Sport.

Here's the short version:

• Luxury: This is the entry point, and it makes sense if you want the XT6’s space, style, and standard tech without stretching your budget. It gives you the core three-row layout and the base turbo-four powertrain.
• Premium Luxury: This is the best-value trim for most shoppers because it adds more standard equipment and the stronger standard V6. It also brings blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert as standard, which makes it the smarter all-around choice.
• Sport: Choose this if you want the V6 with a more aggressive appearance and standard AWD. It is the most expensive trim, so it makes the most sense if you care about the sportier look and extra equipment.

Premium Luxury and Sport also get lane change alert with blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert as standard.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2021 Cadillac XT6?

This is a moderate buyer’s market, so you can shop selectively and still find meaningful inventory.

• Deal availability: 35.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 925 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 14.43% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 71.8% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $26,254, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2021 Cadillac XT6's resale value?

The current average of $26,254 sits slightly below last year's $30,681.

That drop suggests the XT6 has softened in the used market, which can help you buy at a better entry point today. If you plan to sell later, you should expect resale value to depend heavily on mileage, condition, and whether the vehicle has the desirable equipment buyers want.

Because the market has already moved down, a clean, well-optioned XT6 may hold up better than a neglected one. The safest path is to buy carefully now so you have less depreciation pain when it is time to sell.

Is the 2021 Cadillac XT6 safe?

The 2021 Cadillac XT6 earns a five-star frontal crash test rating from NHTSA and a four-star rollover crash test rating.

It earns an 8/10 safety score from our experts.

All models come with automatic emergency braking, forward-collision alert, following-distance indicator, lane-keep assist with lane-departure warning, a high-definition rearview camera, Safety Alert Seat, IntelliBeam headlights, and rear park assist. Premium Luxury and Sport add lane change alert with blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert as standard.

One caveat is that the lane-keep assist and lane-departure warning systems can be slow to recognize lane markings, so you should test those features carefully on your own roads.

Should I buy a 2021 Cadillac XT6 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2021 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2021 if:

• 35.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 71.8% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 14.43% compared with last year.
• It offers a familiar, refined three-row package with strong handling and impressive technology.

Consider the 2020 if:

• At $24,690, the 2020 costs less than the current year's $26,254 average.
• It is a more accessible luxury option with stylish design and easy-to-use technology.

Consider the 2022 if:

• At $29,407, the 2022 costs more than the current year's $26,254 average.
• It improves ride quality and keeps the XT6’s strong tech and safety strengths.

The bottom line: If you want the best balance of price, refinement, and available inventory, the 2021 is the sensible default. If you are especially price-sensitive, the 2020 is the cheaper route; if you want a newer-feeling step up and can spend more, the 2022 is worth a look.
