How much does the 2021 BMW X6 cost?

There are 392 listings available, which gives you a modest amount of inventory to compare before you buy.

Is the 2021 BMW X6 a good car?

Yes — the 5/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction. The 2021 BMW X6 stands out because it blends the X6’s original coupe-like SUV shape with a more aggressive, modern look than the second generation, and it leans hard into performance and technology. It also suits you if you want a sporty, high-end SUV with a well-equipped cabin and a distinctive design, though it still asks you to accept less practicality than a more conventional SUV. 38.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2021 BMW X6 reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2021 BMW X6 emphasizes performance hardware and a well-equipped cabin, with standard adaptive dampers, available air suspension on all-wheel-drive trims, and a long list of comfort and driver-assistance features. That combination suggests a premium ownership experience, but used buyers should still plan for higher long-term maintenance and repair exposure than they would with a simpler vehicle.

What should I look for when buying a used 2021 BMW X6?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 79.8% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should prioritize a history report first, then focus on a pre-purchase inspection that checks the suspension, electronics, and any signs of uneven wear. Because this model is built around performance and technology, condition matters a lot, so pay close attention to how well the cabin equipment, displays, and drivability features work on the specific vehicle you’re considering.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2021 BMW X6?

This is a moderate market, so you can be selective without expecting a deep bargain on every listing.

• Deal availability: 38.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 392 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.57% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 79.8% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $41,417, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2021 BMW X6's resale value?

The current average of $41,441 sits slightly below last year's $45,828.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy at a more favorable entry point today. For a future seller, the softer trend means resale value may depend more heavily on condition, mileage, and how well the vehicle has been maintained. If you keep the X6 clean, documented, and well cared for, you’ll be in a better position to protect value when it’s time to sell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2021 BMW X6 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2021 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2021 if:

• 38.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 79.8% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.57% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line:

If you want the sharper, more modern version of the X6 with strong equipment and a favorable price trend, the 2021 is the primary year to target. If your main goal is to maximize savings, you can also compare nearby years, but the 2021 gives you a good balance of market value, inventory choice, and owner satisfaction.
