The 2021 BMW X5 M stands out because it combines the X5’s everyday luxury-SUV character with serious performance hardware. In the fourth-generation X5 lineup, the full-fat BMW X5 M returned in 2020 with a minimum of 600 horsepower and handling that defied the laws of physics, and the X5 M Competition supplied 617 horses.
