Is the 2021 Audi A4 a good car?

Yes — the 4.8/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction, and the 2021 Audi A4’s overview shows a compact luxury sedan with strong technology, available all-wheel drive, and a well-rounded driving character. You also get a more powerful turbocharged engine, Audi’s quattro all-wheel drive as an option, and a cabin that feels more modern thanks to features like Virtual Cockpit and the updated MMI screen. For you, that means a premium sedan that balances everyday usability with upscale tech and traction. 34.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2021 Audi A4 reliable?

Owners rate it 4.8/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2021 Audi A4’s overview suggests a mature, well-rounded package with useful technology and a broad equipment list, which can be a good sign for day-to-day ownership. It also benefits from a more powerful engine setup and available quattro traction, both of which can make the car feel more confident and complete. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is making sure you choose a well-kept example, since premium features and complex systems are best bought with a clean maintenance history.

What should I look for when buying a used 2021 Audi A4?

At 70.3% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report and confirm whether any prior damage was repaired properly. Then prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if the car has advanced tech features or all-wheel drive, since those systems can be costly to sort out later. Focus on overall condition, service records, and signs of uneven wear so you can separate a clean, well-maintained car from one that only looks good online.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2021 Audi A4?

This is a moderate market, so you can be selective without expecting every listing to be a bargain.

• Deal availability: 34.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 340 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.62% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 70.3% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $20,854, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2021 Audi A4's resale value?

The current average of $20,854 sits slightly below last year's $23,072.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled, which can matter if you plan to sell later. A lower current average can make the car easier to buy now, but it also means you should expect resale value to depend heavily on condition, mileage, and equipment. Well-kept examples with desirable features should hold buyer interest better than neglected ones, especially in a premium segment where presentation matters.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.8/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2021 Audi A4 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2021 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2021 if:

• 34.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 70.3% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.62% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.8/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2022 if:

• At $22,593, the 2022 costs more than the current year's $20,854 average.
• It feels fresh and modern, with strong technology and a rock-solid structure.

The 2021 is the better primary pick if you want the strongest value and a lower entry price. If you’re more price-sensitive, the 2021 gives you the better shopping opportunity, while the 2022 makes sense if you’re willing to pay more for a newer-feeling alternative.
