That price movement suggests the market has cooled, which can help you buy more confidently today. Strong condition and clean history will matter more if you want to protect resale value.

Should I buy a 2020 Porsche Cayenne Coupe or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2020 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2020 if:

• 32.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 91.3% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.86% compared with last year.

Consider the 2021 if:

• At $51,036, the 2021 costs more than the current year's $49,477 average.
• It adds improved handling and V8 power.

The bottom line: If you want the better value, the 2020 is the primary path because pricing has eased and deal availability is decent. If you’re willing to pay more for a sharper driving experience and stronger performance, the 2021 is the better secondary path.
