How much does the 2020 Nissan Pathfinder cost?

Prices have softened 15.60% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 921 listings available, which gives you a solid pool of options to compare.

Is the 2020 Nissan Pathfinder a good car?

Yes — the 4.8/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise its powerful performance, smooth ride, and spacious interior, and many also value the luxury features and advanced technology. For you, that makes it a strong fit if you want a practical midsize SUV with three rows of seating and family-friendly versatility. With 34.9% of listings marked as good or great deals, the market still offers some attractive opportunities.

Is the 2020 Nissan Pathfinder reliable?

Owners rate it 4.8/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback points to a dependable-feeling SUV that many drivers are happy to keep for the long haul, especially because of its strong performance and comfortable ride. That said, used buyers should still pay close attention to maintenance records and overall condition so you can reduce long-term ownership risk.

What should I look for when buying a used 2020 Nissan Pathfinder?

At 61% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should run a vehicle history report on any Pathfinder you’re seriously considering and confirm whether prior damage was repaired properly. A pre-purchase inspection should focus on overall condition, signs of past bodywork, and how the SUV drives and shifts in real-world use. Because this model is often chosen for family duty and utility, it’s worth paying extra attention to interior wear, cargo-area condition, and evidence of consistent maintenance.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2020 Nissan Pathfinder?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can be choosy while still moving quickly on the best listings.

• Deal availability: 34.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 921 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 15.60% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 61.0% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $14,823, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2020 Nissan Pathfinder's resale value?

The current average of $14,823 sits slightly below last year's $17,563.

That price movement suggests the model has become more accessible for used buyers, but it also means future sellers may face a softer market than they would have a year ago. If you’re planning to resell later, condition and documentation matter more when the market is already trending down. Well-kept examples should still stand out, especially if they have clean history and strong equipment.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.8/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2020 Nissan Pathfinder or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2020 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2020 if:

• 34.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 61% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 15.60% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.8/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want the best mix of value and owner satisfaction, the 2020 is the stronger primary choice because it combines a lower average price with solid shopper appeal. If you’re especially price-sensitive, you can also use the softer market to shop carefully and focus on the cleanest, best-documented examples rather than stretching for a newer year.
