Used 2020 Nissan Murano for Sale nearNaples, FL

How much does the 2020 Nissan Murano cost?

Prices have softened 10.80% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,331 listings available, which suggests solid inventory for comparison shopping.

Is the 2020 Nissan Murano a good car?

Yes — the 2020 Nissan Murano earns a 4.79/5 user rating and a 7.0/10 expert rating. The model scores 8/10 across Form and function and Safety.

Owners consistently praise its comfort, smooth ride, and feature content, and many say it feels more upscale than you might expect for the price. The strong fuel economy reports also stand out, with many drivers seeing 28 to 30 mpg. On the downside, the Murano’s aging design and outdated technology are recurring trade-offs.

That makes it a strong fit if you want a comfortable, refined two-row SUV rather than the newest cabin tech or the most modern styling. With 35.6% of listings marked as good or great deals, there’s also a decent amount of market flexibility.

Is the 2020 Nissan Murano reliable?

Owners rate it 4.79/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The user feedback points to a dependable, trouble-free ownership experience centered on comfort and smooth daily use. The expert evaluation also describes the Murano as a relaxed cruiser with a quiet CVT and a powertrain that feels composed at highway speeds. The cost-effectiveness notes add that the Murano’s comfortable seats, good cargo space, and strong engine performance make it easy to recommend for a test drive.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is less about outright mechanical weakness and more about age-related compromises in technology and everyday convenience.

What should I look for when buying a used 2020 Nissan Murano?

At 71.1% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report and then prioritize a careful inspection of body panels, paint consistency, and any signs of prior repair. Because this model’s appeal depends heavily on comfort and condition, it’s worth focusing on how well the cabin, electronics, and ride quality have held up. If you’re comparing multiple listings, give extra weight to the cleanest example rather than the cheapest one.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: Nissan sells the Murano in S, SV, SL, and Platinum grades for 2020. Midrange and higher trim levels add more standard features, with SV gaining heated outside mirrors, adaptive cruise control, and rear sonar, SL adding traffic-sign recognition technology, and Platinum adding a leather-wrapped steering wheel. The base trim is the most stripped-down choice, so feature gaps matter if you want more convenience and driver assistance.
• Powertrain: The standard 3.5-liter V6 makes 260 horsepower and 240 pound-feet of torque, paired with a CVT. It’s not the quickest off the line, but it has no trouble overtaking on the highway, and the CVT is described as quieter than many others. Front-wheel drive is standard, and all-wheel drive is available.
• Safety package: Safety Shield 360 is standard on SV, SL, and Platinum trims. It includes forward-collision warning with automatic emergency braking and pedestrian detection, blind-spot monitoring and warning, rear cross-traffic alert, lane-departure warning, high beam assist, and rear automatic braking. The base trim does not get this full suite.
• Infotainment: Every 2020 Murano comes with an 8-inch touchscreen, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, four USB ports, Bluetooth, satellite radio, a six-speaker audio system, and voice recognition. Higher trims can add an 11-speaker Bose system, HD Radio, navigation, and NissanConnect Services on Platinum.
• Fuel efficiency: The Murano is rated at 20 mpg city, 28 mpg highway, and 23 mpg combined.

Which 2020 Nissan Murano trim should I buy?

The 2020 Nissan Murano is offered in 4 trim levels: S, SV, SL, and Platinum.

Here's the short version:

• S: This is the entry point, but it’s the most bare-bones version of the Murano. Choose it only if you’re focused on the lowest price and can live without the added convenience and safety equipment found higher up the range.
• SV: This is the best-value trim for most shoppers because it adds heated outside mirrors, adaptive cruise control, rear sonar, and the full Safety Shield 360 suite. It gives you the most important upgrades without pushing the price into the upper trims.
• SL: This trim builds on the SV with traffic-sign recognition technology and a more upscale wheel setup. It makes sense if you want a more premium feel and are willing to pay more for it.
• Platinum: This is the most luxurious version, with premium appointments, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and NissanConnect Services capability. It’s the right pick if you want the most comfort and tech the Murano offers.

Safety Shield 360 is standard on SV, SL, and Platinum, so those trims are the ones to target if driver assistance matters to you.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2020 Nissan Murano?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 35.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,331 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.80% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 71.1% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $17,405, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2020 Nissan Murano's resale value?

The current average of $17,405 sits slightly below last year's $19,512.

That decline suggests the Murano has already absorbed a meaningful amount of depreciation, which can help future owners if they buy at the right price. If you purchase near the current average or below it, you may have less downside left than a buyer who paid closer to the original market peak. The model’s comfort-focused appeal should help it remain attractive to shoppers who value a smooth, upscale-feeling two-row SUV.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.79/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2020 Nissan Murano safe?

The 2020 Nissan Murano earns Good ratings from IIHS except in the headlight category, where it was not rated, and it receives a superior mark in front crash prevention. It also earns five-star ratings from NHTSA except in rollover, where it is rated four-star.

It earns an 8/10 safety score from our experts.

Safety Shield 360 is standard on SV, SL, and Platinum trims. The suite includes forward-collision warning with automatic emergency braking and pedestrian detection, blind-spot monitoring and warning, rear cross-traffic alert, lane-departure warning, high beam assist, and rear automatic braking. A rearview camera is also standard.

The main caveat is that the Murano does not offer the more advanced driver-assist setup found in some rivals, including Nissan’s own ProPilot Assist system.

Should I buy a 2020 Nissan Murano or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2020 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2020 if:

• 35.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 71.1% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.80% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.79/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It adds Safety Shield 360 standard on SV and above, making this a stronger safety-value year.

Consider the 2021 if:

• At $18,776, the 2021 costs more than the current year's $17,405 average.
• It gains some additional standard safety features.

The 2020 is the better pick if you want the lower price and a strong mix of comfort, safety, and value. If you’re willing to spend more for a newer model year and a few extra standard safety features, the 2021 is the cleaner upgrade path.
