Used 2020 Mercedes-Benz GLC for Sale nearColumbia, SC

How much does the 2020 Mercedes-Benz GLC cost?

Prices have softened 8.70% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,898 listings available, which suggests solid inventory for comparison shopping.

Is the 2020 Mercedes-Benz GLC a good car?

Yes — the 4.8/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction, and the expert rating is 7.3/10. The standout strength is Safety at 10/10.

Owners consistently praise the GLC’s quick acceleration, comfort, luxury features, and value for money. The user feedback also highlights its all-wheel drive capability for winter driving, which fits the model’s premium everyday-use appeal.

The trade-offs are the GLC 300’s weaker performance and a cramped back seat. That means you may like it most if you want a compact luxury crossover for commuting, suburban use, and winter traction rather than maximum rear-seat space.

With 37.5% of listings marked as good or great deals, the market still gives you some room to shop carefully.

Is the 2020 Mercedes-Benz GLC reliable?

Owners rate it 4.8/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

User feedback points to a dependable-feeling ownership experience, with praise for value, comfort, and the kind of all-wheel drive confidence you can count on in winter. The expert evaluation also describes the GLC as a polished, well-rounded compact luxury crossover with broad appeal, which supports the case for everyday dependability.

The 2020 model also includes standard MBUX and 3 years of connected vehicle services, which adds convenience to ownership. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is that a premium SUV can become expensive if prior maintenance was skipped or if wear items were neglected.

What should I look for when buying a used 2020 Mercedes-Benz GLC?

At 74% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report and then prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if you’re considering a higher-mileage example or one with a lower asking price. Focus on signs of prior bodywork, uneven panel gaps, interior wear, and any evidence that the vehicle’s technology or safety systems were repaired after a collision.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The GLC 300 starts with standard MBUX, heated front seats, LED headlights, and 3 years of connected vehicle services, while the Coupe starts higher and the AMG versions add much more visual drama and performance-oriented hardware.
• Powertrain: The GLC 300 uses a turbocharged inline 4-cylinder with 255 horsepower and a 9-speed automatic, with rear-wheel drive or 4Matic all-wheel drive depending on configuration.
• Safety package: Standard safety equipment includes Exit Warning Assist, which uses rear radar sensors to warn of approaching cyclists or cars after shutdown, along with Pre-Safe Sound and Predictive Brake Priming.
• Infotainment: MBUX comes with a standard 10.3-inch touchscreen, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, USB-C ports, and an optional 12.3-inch digital display in the gauge cluster.
• Fuel efficiency: The GLC 300 4Matic is rated at 21 mpg city, 28 highway, and 24 combined.

Which 2020 Mercedes-Benz GLC trim should I buy?

The 2020 Mercedes-Benz GLC is offered in 4 trim levels: GLC 300, GLC 300 Coupe, AMG GLC 43, AMG GLC 63.

Here's the short version:

• GLC 300: This is the best-value choice if you want the core GLC experience with standard MBUX, heated front seats, LED headlights, and connected services without jumping into AMG pricing.
• GLC 300 Coupe: Choose this if you want the same basic formula with a more style-focused body shape and are willing to pay more for it.
• AMG GLC 43: This is the step-up pick if you want a much stronger performance character and can justify the higher price.
• AMG GLC 63: This is the top performance choice, but it sits far above the rest of the lineup in price and is best for buyers who want the most powerful version.

The safety package is a highlight across the lineup, with Exit Warning Assist, Pre-Safe Sound, and Predictive Brake Priming adding meaningful everyday protection.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2020 Mercedes-Benz GLC?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you’re patient.

• Deal availability: 37.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,898 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.70% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 74.0% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $22,765, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2020 Mercedes-Benz GLC's resale value?

The current average of $22,828 sits slightly below last year's $25,004.

That decline suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy at a more favorable entry point today. For a future seller, the key implication is that resale value may remain sensitive to condition, mileage, and equipment level rather than simply the badge alone.

Well-kept examples with strong equipment and clean history should hold up better than neglected ones, especially because shoppers in this segment compare many alternatives. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.8/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2020 Mercedes-Benz GLC safe?

The GLC was named a 2019 Top Safety Pick+ by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS), and it scored five-star ratings in all crash tests from NHTSA.

It earns a 10/10 safety score from our experts.

Standard safety equipment includes Exit Warning Assist, which uses rear bumper radar sensors to warn occupants if a cyclist or car is approaching after shutdown. The GLC also includes Pre-Safe Sound and Predictive Brake Priming, both of which add thoughtful layers of protection.

Should I buy a 2020 Mercedes-Benz GLC or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2020 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2020 if:

• 37.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 74% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.70% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.8/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2020 brings a standard 10.3-inch touchscreen and Exit Warning Assist.

Consider the 2021 if:

• At $25,583, the 2021 costs more than the current year's $22,828 average.
• It adds a more upscale, tech-forward compact luxury SUV package with broader appeal.

The bottom line: If you want the better value, the 2020 is the smarter starting point because prices are softer and inventory is healthy. If you’re willing to spend more for a newer model year, the 2021 is the cleaner upgrade path.
