Used 2020 Jeep Gladiator for Sale near Indiana

How much does the 2020 Jeep Gladiator cost?

Prices have softened 10.09% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 3,526 listings available, which suggests you have a healthy amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2020 Jeep Gladiator a good car?

Yes — the 2020 Jeep Gladiator earns a 4.8/5 user rating and a 7.7/10 expert rating. The standout strength is Look and feel at 10/10.

Owners consistently praise its fun driving experience, off-road capability, and versatility as both a truck and a Jeep. The review summary also points to its stylish design and spacious cargo area as recurring positives.

On the trade-off side, the expert review calls out poor value for money and notes that advanced safety features are not standard. The overview frames it as a truck for both work and rough terrain, so you should expect a more distinctive, adventure-first setup than a conventional midsize pickup. Good and great deals account for 32.3% of listings, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2020 Jeep Gladiator reliable?

Owners rate it 4.8/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The review summary points to a vehicle that owners see as versatile, fun, and capable, with praise for its off-road ability and truck utility. That kind of feedback often lines up with confidence in day-to-day ownership, especially when buyers value character and capability as much as comfort.

The expert review also describes the Gladiator as a truck that can handle rough use and be hosed out after hard work, which reinforces its durable, utility-first personality. Jeep also includes free scheduled maintenance in the following model year, which is a useful ownership perk to keep in mind when comparing long-term costs. For used buyers, the main risk is that a hard-used example may show wear from off-road or work duty, so condition matters a lot.

What should I look for when buying a used 2020 Jeep Gladiator?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 81% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still run a history report on any candidate, because a clean listing percentage does not replace a documented record. Prioritize a pre-purchase inspection if the truck has been modified, used off-road, or equipped with heavy-duty accessories. Focus on cabin wear, suspension condition, and signs of hard use, since this model is often bought for adventure as much as commuting.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Sport, Sport S, Overland, and Rubicon each bring different equipment levels, and the base setup is relatively basic. The Overland adds more comfort and tech, while the Rubicon is the most capable choice for tougher terrain.
• Powertrain: All trims use a 3.6-liter V6 with 285 horsepower and a 6-speed manual gearbox, and an 8-speed automatic is available. The truck is geared for towing, hauling, and off-road use, but fuel mileage is not a strong point.
• Safety package: The Active Safety Group adds blind-spot monitoring, rear parking-assist sensors, and LED taillights. The Advanced Safety Group adds adaptive cruise control and forward-collision warning, and these features are not standard.
• Infotainment: Bluetooth is standard, while the mid-level Uconnect 4 system adds a 7-inch display, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and satellite radio. The top system upgrades to an 8.4-inch touchscreen, navigation, a Wi-Fi hotspot, and connected services.
• Fuel efficiency: The Gladiator is rated at 19 mpg in combined driving.

Which 2020 Jeep Gladiator trim should I buy?

The 2020 Jeep Gladiator is offered in 4 trim levels: Sport, Sport S, Overland, and Rubicon.

Here's the short version:

• Sport: This is the entry point, but it is also the most stripped-down version of the truck. It makes sense if you want the Gladiator’s core capability and plan to add only the options you really need.
• Sport S: This is the best-value trim for many shoppers because it adds useful equipment without jumping all the way to the pricier upper trims. It is the trim to focus on if you want a balanced mix of price and everyday usability.
• Overland: This trim is the better pick if you want more comfort and a more polished feel, along with the stronger infotainment setup available on higher-spec trucks. It suits you if you care about daily livability as much as the Gladiator’s personality.
• Rubicon: This is the trim to choose if off-road capability is your priority. It brings the most serious trail-focused hardware and is the right fit if you plan to use the truck in rough terrain.

Advanced safety features are optional rather than standard, so check whether a used example has the safety packages you want.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2020 Jeep Gladiator?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, with enough inventory and deal activity to shop carefully.

• Deal availability: 32.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 3,526 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.09% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 81.0% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $27,640, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2020 Jeep Gladiator's resale value?

The current average of $27,640 sits slightly below last year's $30,742.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled from a year ago, which can help you buy more confidently now. For a future seller, the softer current pricing means resale value may depend more on condition, trim, and equipment than on broad market momentum alone. Well-kept trucks with desirable features should still draw attention, especially if they have clean history and strong equipment.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.8/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2020 Jeep Gladiator safe?

The 2020 Jeep Gladiator earns a conservative score for overall safety because of limited crash data and the lack of automatic emergency braking.

It earns a 6/10 safety score from our experts.

The Gladiator offers an Active Safety Group and an Advanced Safety Group as optional extras. The Active Safety Group installs blind-spot monitoring, rear parking-assist sensors, and LED taillights, while the Advanced Safety Group adds adaptive cruise control and forward-collision warning. Those features are helpful, but they are not standard across the lineup.

Should I buy a 2020 Jeep Gladiator or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2020 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2020 if:

• 32.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 81% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.09% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.8/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2020 stands out for its distinctive Wrangler-based pickup identity and strong off-road focus.

Consider the 2021 if:

• At $30,186, the 2021 costs more than the current year's $27,640 average.
• It adds a turbo-diesel engine option and free scheduled maintenance.

The bottom line: Choose the 2020 if you want the lower average price and the core Gladiator experience. Move to the 2021 if you want the added engine choice and maintenance perk, and you are willing to pay more for them.
