That kind of feedback suggests you may find a well-liked luxury crossover with broad appeal, and 37.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.

Is the 2020 INFINITI QX50 reliable?

For used buyers, that usually means you should focus less on broad reputation and more on how each individual vehicle was maintained, because condition and service history will drive your ownership risk.

At 71.1% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should run a vehicle history report on any promising listing and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection before you commit. Pay close attention to body condition, repair quality, and signs of uneven wear so you can separate a clean example from one with hidden issues.

What is the 2020 INFINITI QX50's resale value?

The current average of $18,512 sits slightly below last year's $21,534.

That softer pricing can help you buy in at a more favorable point, but it also means future resale gains may be more limited if the market stays soft. If you plan to sell later, a well-kept example with strong documentation should be easier to move than one with accident history or visible wear.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2020 INFINITI QX50 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2020 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2020 if:

• 37.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 71.1% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 14.03% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2019 if:

• At $16,038, the 2019 costs less than the current year's $18,512 average.
• Redesign brought a roomier cabin and a new VC-Turbo engine.

Consider the 2021 if:

• At $19,839, the 2021 costs more than the current year's $18,512 average.
• Added more safety equipment and a standard WiFi hotspot.

The bottom line: You should start with the 2020 if you want the best balance of price, deal availability, and owner satisfaction. If your budget is tighter, the 2019 is the better value play; if you want newer features and can spend more, the 2021 is the cleaner upgrade path.
