How much does the 2020 Honda Odyssey cost?

There are 2,078 listings available, which suggests solid inventory for shoppers comparing prices and conditions.

Is the 2020 Honda Odyssey a good car?

Yes — the 2020 Honda Odyssey earns a 4.8/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise the spacious cabin, comfort, and user-friendly features, and they also like the updated technology that makes the van feel especially family-friendly. That fits the Odyssey’s role as a practical minivan for everyday passenger hauling and cargo duty. With 36.6% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have a decent chance of finding a competitive listing if you shop carefully.

Is the 2020 Honda Odyssey reliable?

Owners rate it 4.8/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback also emphasizes dependable day-to-day use, with comments centered on comfort, practicality, and a trouble-free family experience. That kind of response suggests the Odyssey can be a sensible used buy if you want a minivan you can count on for regular ownership. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is paying too much for a well-liked model without verifying condition and maintenance history first.

What should I look for when buying a used 2020 Honda Odyssey?

At 61% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report so you can separate clean examples from those with prior damage or repeated claims. Then prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially on body panels, alignment, tires, and interior wear, since those areas can reveal how a family vehicle has been used. Focus on overall condition and maintenance records, because a minivan with a strong feature set is only a good buy if it has been cared for properly.

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile listings.

• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.67% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $23,543, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2020 Honda Odyssey's resale value?

The current average of $23,543 sits slightly below last year's $25,779.

That softer pricing can help you buy more carefully now, but it also means future resale may depend heavily on how well you preserve the vehicle. If you keep mileage reasonable, maintain service records, and avoid accident history, you should be in a better position when it is time to sell. Strong condition matters even more in a market where shoppers are already comparing value closely.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.8/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2020 Honda Odyssey or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2020 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2020 if:

• 36.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 61% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.67% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.8/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2021 if:

• At $25,872, the 2021 costs more than the current year's $23,543 average.
• It brings a freshened design with upgraded safety, technology, and roomier third-row usability.

The 2020 is the better starting point if you want a lower entry price and strong owner satisfaction. If you can stretch for the 2021, you may prefer the newer model’s updates and refreshed feel. For price-sensitive buyers, the 2020 remains the smarter value play.
