How much does the 2020 Honda Odyssey cost?

There are 2,060 listings available, which gives you a solid pool to compare prices and equipment.

Is the 2020 Honda Odyssey a good car?

Yes — the 4.78/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise the spacious cabin, comfort, and user-friendly features, and they also like the more luxurious feel and updated technology in newer models. For you, that makes this a strong fit if you want a family minivan built around everyday usability, seating flexibility, and practical convenience. With 35.8% of listings marked as good or great deals, the market still gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2020 Honda Odyssey reliable?

Owners rate it 4.78/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback also points to a dependable, trouble-free ownership experience, with praise centered on comfort, usability, and the kind of long-term family value buyers tend to count on. That said, used buyers should still focus on maintenance history and overall condition, since long-term ownership risk is always lower when the vehicle has been cared for consistently.

What should I look for when buying a used 2020 Honda Odyssey?

At 63.3% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report so you can separate clean examples from those with prior damage. After that, prioritize a thorough pre-purchase inspection, especially for signs of uneven wear, repair quality, or neglected maintenance. Because this model is often used as a family hauler, pay close attention to interior condition, seat operation, and any signs of heavy daily use.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2020 Honda Odyssey?

This is a moderate buyer’s market, so you can be selective without expecting deep discounts on every listing.

• Deal availability: 35.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 2,060 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.86% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 63.3% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $23,802, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2020 Honda Odyssey's resale value?

The current average of $23,802 sits slightly below last year's $26,116.

That softer pricing can help you buy more carefully now, but it also means future resale may depend heavily on how well you preserve the vehicle. If you keep mileage reasonable, maintain service records, and avoid accident history, you should be in a better position when it is time to sell. Strong condition matters even more in a market where shoppers are already comparing value closely.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.78/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2020 Honda Odyssey or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2020 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2020 if:

• 35.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 63.3% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.86% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.78/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2021 if:

• At $26,128, the 2021 costs more than the current year's $23,802 average.
• It brings a freshened design with improved safety, upgraded technology, and enhanced utility.

The bottom line: If you want the better value play, the 2020 is the stronger starting point because pricing has eased and inventory is broad enough to shop carefully. If you are willing to pay more for the newer refresh and its added polish, the 2021 is the better upgrade path; otherwise, the 2020 gives you the more budget-friendly route into the Odyssey lineup.
