Is the 2020 Chrysler 300 a good car?

Yes — the 2020 Chrysler 300 earns a 4.8/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction.

Drivers commonly praise its smooth and quiet ride, good power, and ample space. The review summary also highlights its affordability and distinctive design, which fits well if you want a roomy, full-size sedan with a more traditional luxury feel. That makes it especially appealing if you value comfort and presence over a newer, more complicated alternative.

With 29.8% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have a decent chance of finding a competitive price.

Is the 2020 Chrysler 300 reliable?

Owners rate it 4.8/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The review summary points to a well-built sedan that many drivers describe as dependable, with a smooth ride and strong power that help it feel easy to live with over time. That kind of feedback suggests the car has the kind of everyday durability used buyers often want from a large sedan.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is less about the car’s basic appeal and more about finding one that has been maintained well and hasn’t been worn down by age or heavy use.

What should I look for when buying a used 2020 Chrysler 300?

At 58.7% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report so you can separate clean examples from cars with prior damage. After that, prioritize a thorough pre-purchase inspection, especially if the listing has any accident history or incomplete service records. Focus your attention on overall condition, since a large sedan like this can vary a lot depending on how carefully it was driven and maintained.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2020 Chrysler 300?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find value.

• Deal availability: 29.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 583 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.78% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 58.7% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $17,792, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2020 Chrysler 300's resale value?

The current average of $17,996 sits slightly below last year's $19,728.

That decline suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy at a more favorable entry point today. For a future seller, that also means resale performance will depend heavily on condition, mileage, and how well the car is presented when it comes time to list it. A clean history and strong maintenance records should matter more when the market is already pricing in age.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.8/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2020 Chrysler 300 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2020 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2020 if:

• 29.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 58.7% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.78% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.8/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2021 if:

• At $19,730, the 2021 costs more than the current year's $17,996 average.
• It adds available all-wheel drive and a 5.7-liter Hemi V8.

The bottom line: If you want the better value today, the 2020 is the stronger starting point because it combines a lower average price with solid owner satisfaction. If you’re willing to spend more for broader powertrain choice, the 2021 is the better secondary path.
