The Audi SQ5, a performance compact crossover, was last redesigned in 2018. For 2020, it gets no changes of note. With the seats folded, that expands to 53.1 cubic feet. Your basic SQ5 includes a reversing camera, automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, and forward-collision warning. Blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic detection, vehicle-exit assist, front and rear parking sensors, adaptive cruise control with traffic-jam assist, active lane assist, and a top-view 360-degree camera are extra-cost options. While the SQ5 hasn't been crash-tested, the regular Q5, which is related, scored excellently when evaluated for crash safety by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS). The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) gave the Q5 a 5-star overall rating. The SQ5 offers plenty of technology and style, making it a worthy option.
