Used 2020 Audi Q7 for Sale nearTacoma, WA

How much does the 2020 Audi Q7 cost?

Prices have softened 12.56% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,042 listings available, which gives you a solid pool to compare prices and equipment.

Is the 2020 Audi Q7 a good car?

Yes — the 2020 Audi Q7 earns a 5/5 user rating and a 7.67/10 expert rating. The standout strength is Performance at 10/10.

Owners consistently praise its luxurious features, smooth and quiet ride, comfort, and driveability, and many also like how it handles in snowy conditions. The Q7’s refreshed styling, upgraded interior, and new technology help it feel polished and competitive in the high-end three-row class.

The main trade-offs are its cramped third row and limited cargo space, and some owners feel it is overpriced. For you, that means the Q7 makes the most sense if you value refinement, technology, and driving enjoyment more than maximum room.

Good and great deals account for 40.1% of listings, so there are still plenty of attractive opportunities in the market.

Is the 2020 Audi Q7 reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

User feedback points to a dependable-feeling ownership experience, with owners highlighting the Q7 as luxurious, comfortable, and smooth to live with over time. The expert evaluation also emphasizes the Q7’s well-rounded character and its strong road manners, which supports the impression that it is a vehicle you can count on for daily use.

Audi’s 48-volt mild-hybrid system helps conserve fuel by reducing the load on the turbocharged V6, including extended stop/start operation and engine-off coasting. That kind of engineering can support efficient, trouble-free use when the vehicle is maintained properly.

For used buyers, the main long-term risk is less about basic drivability and more about ownership costs and the complexity that comes with a premium SUV.

What should I look for when buying a used 2020 Audi Q7?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 77.9% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still check the vehicle history report carefully, because a clean listing percentage does not replace a proper records review. Prioritize a pre-purchase inspection that focuses on electronics, suspension behavior, and any signs of wear from family use. Pay close attention to cabin condition, since the Q7’s appeal depends heavily on its upscale interior and technology working as intended.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Q7 is available in Premium, Premium Plus, and Prestige trim levels. The base setup already includes Quattro all-wheel drive, leather upholstery, and a third-row seat, while higher trims add more luxury and convenience equipment. The Prestige trim brings the most upscale presentation and is the best fit if you want the richest feature set.
• Powertrain: The 55 TFSI uses a turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 with 335 horsepower and 369 pound-feet of torque, paired with an eight-speed automatic and Quattro all-wheel drive. The 48-volt mild-hybrid system helps conserve fuel, and the drivetrain delivers strong acceleration and substantial towing ability.
• Safety package: Audi equips the Q7 with advanced driver-assistance systems, and the Executive Package on Premium Plus or the Prestige trim adds Emergency Assist, Turn Assist, and Adaptive Cruise Assist with adaptive cruise control, traffic-jam assistance, and lane-centering assistance. Base-trim shoppers should confirm which assistance features are included on the specific vehicle they are considering.
• Infotainment: The Q7 uses an upper 10.1-inch touchscreen and a lower 8.6-inch touchscreen, along with natural voice recognition, handwriting recognition, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, navigation with Google Earth imagery, and Audi Connect services with a 4G LTE WiFi hotspot.
• Fuel efficiency: The EPA says the Q7 should get 18 mpg combined, and the test vehicle averaged 21 mpg on a road trip and 18.1 mpg on a local fuel-economy loop.

Which 2020 Audi Q7 trim should I buy?

The 2020 Audi Q7 is offered in 3 trim levels: Premium, Premium Plus, Prestige.

Here's the short version:

• Premium: This is the entry point, but it still gives you the core Q7 formula of Quattro all-wheel drive, leather upholstery, and a third-row seat. It makes sense if you want the Q7 experience without stretching for extra luxury features.
• Premium Plus: This is the trim to focus on if you want the best balance of equipment and value, especially because it can be paired with the Executive Package for more advanced driver-assistance features. For many shoppers, this is the sweet spot.
• Prestige: This is the most upscale version and the one that best matches the Q7’s high-tech, premium personality. It adds the richest feature content, including the adaptive air suspension, head-up display, and more of the luxury touches that make the Q7 feel special.

For safety-package shoppers, the Executive Package on Premium Plus or the Prestige trim is the key upgrade path.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2020 Audi Q7?

It’s a buyer-friendly market for the 2020 Audi Q7, with meaningful deal availability and a healthy supply of listings to compare.

• Deal availability: 40.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,042 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.56% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 77.9% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $24,014, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2020 Audi Q7's resale value?

The current average of $24,014 sits slightly below last year's $27,463.

That price movement suggests the Q7 has already absorbed a meaningful amount of depreciation, which can help future sellers if the market stabilizes. If you buy at the right price and keep the vehicle in strong condition, you may be better positioned to limit your loss when it’s time to sell.

The Q7’s strong owner satisfaction also helps support demand in the used market. Shoppers tend to respond well to luxury SUVs that feel refined, comfortable, and well equipped, which can help resale performance over time.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2020 Audi Q7 safe?

The 2020 Audi Q7 earns a Top Safety Pick+ rating from IIHS, but its headlights are rated poor.

It earns an 8/10 safety score from our experts.

Audi equips the Q7 with a broad set of advanced driver-assistance features, including Emergency Assist, Turn Assist, and Adaptive Cruise Assist with adaptive cruise control, traffic-jam assistance, and lane-centering assistance. Those systems are a major part of the Q7’s safety appeal, especially on higher trims or with the Executive Package.

The main caveat is the IIHS headlight result, which keeps the Q7 from an even cleaner safety story. You should also pay attention to how the driver-assistance systems behave in real-world use, since the expert evaluation found the traffic-sign recognition and lane-assist behavior frustrating at times.

Should I buy a 2020 Audi Q7 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2020 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2020 if:

• 40.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 77.9% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.56% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2020 update brings refreshed styling, a more advanced interior, and a stronger technology package that keeps the Q7 competitive in the midsize luxury SUV class.

The bottom line: If you want the most up-to-date version of this generation’s Q7, the 2020 model is the one to target because it delivers the refreshed design, improved tech, and strong driving character that define this update. If your priority is simply finding the lowest purchase price, a nearby older year may be worth considering, but you’ll be giving up some of the 2020 model’s key improvements.
