Is the 2020 Audi A6 a good car?

Yes — the 2020 Audi A6 earns a 5/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. The overview describes it as a premium midsize sedan that blends luxury, technology, and standard all-wheel drive, with a modern cabin and a broad feature set that should appeal if you want an upscale daily driver with understated styling. Is the 2020 Audi A6 reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The overview points to a well-equipped, modern design with standard quattro all-wheel drive, a strong safety and tech package, and a platform built around a more contemporary chassis and cabin architecture. That combination suggests a car designed to feel solid and current over time. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is making sure the electronics, driver-assistance features, and maintenance history have been kept in good shape.

What should I look for when buying a used 2020 Audi A6?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 76.1% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should prioritize a history report first, then inspect the car for signs of prior damage, uneven wear, or incomplete repairs. Focus especially on the condition of the electronics, infotainment, and driver-assistance features, since those systems are a major part of the A6’s appeal. A careful pre-purchase inspection should also confirm that the car’s luxury features and all-wheel-drive hardware are functioning as expected.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2020 Audi A6?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you’re patient.

• Deal availability: 39.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 502 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 14.09% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 76.1% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $21,689, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2020 Audi A6's resale value?

The current average of $21,689 sits slightly below last year's $25,245.

That decline suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you as a buyer but may limit upside if you plan to resell soon. If you buy at the right price and keep the car in strong condition, you can reduce the impact of that depreciation. Well-kept examples with desirable equipment and clean history should be easier to move later than neglected ones.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2020 Audi A6 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2020 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2020 if:

• 39.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 76.1% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 14.09% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2019 if:

• At $21,056, the 2019 costs less than the current year's $21,689 average.
• The redesign brings a more modern cabin and advanced tech.

The bottom line: If you want the stronger overall shopping position, the 2020 is the better primary target because it combines a lower current average price with solid deal availability and strong owner satisfaction. If your top priority is saving a bit more upfront, the 2019 is the better secondary path.
