How much does the 2020 Audi A6 cost?

Is the 2020 Audi A6 a good car?

Yes — the 2020 Audi A6 earns a 5/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. The overview describes it as a tech-forward midsize luxury sedan with standard quattro all-wheel drive, standard Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, dual screens, and semi-autonomous capability. It also emphasizes a premium feel, understated luxury, and a broad range of available equipment, so you should expect a well-equipped car that leans more toward refinement and technology than flashy styling. 37.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2020 Audi A6 reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The overview suggests a car that delivers a premium experience with standard all-wheel drive and a strong technology package, but it also notes that the tech-heavy approach was not always perfectly polished. That means you should pay close attention to how the electronics, interfaces, and driver-assistance features operate on the specific car you’re considering. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is less about basic appeal and more about making sure the advanced systems are functioning as intended.

What should I look for when buying a used 2020 Audi A6?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 76.1% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should confirm the car’s history report first, then prioritize a thorough inspection of the electronics and driver-assistance features. Focus on condition details that matter on a tech-heavy luxury sedan, including screen operation, infotainment responsiveness, and any signs that the advanced equipment has been neglected or repaired poorly. A careful test drive should also help you judge whether the car feels as refined and polished as the overview suggests.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2020 Audi A6?

This is a moderate market, so you can shop selectively without expecting every listing to be a bargain.

• Deal availability: 37.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 507 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.85% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 76.1% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $22,006, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2020 Audi A6's resale value?

The current average of $22,006 sits slightly below last year's $25,249.

That drop suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you as a buyer but may temper near-term resale expectations if you plan to sell soon. If you buy at the right price, you reduce the risk of taking a bigger hit later. The model’s premium positioning and strong equipment list can still support demand, especially among shoppers who want a well-equipped luxury sedan without paying new-car money.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2020 Audi A6 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2020 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2020 if:

• 37.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 76.1% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.85% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2019 if:

• At $21,169, the 2019 costs less than the current year's $22,006 average.
• It brings a redesigned, more modern-feeling A6 with updated tech and a fresh luxury-sedan identity.

The bottom line: If you want the stronger value balance, the 2020 is the better primary target because it combines a lower current average price with solid deal availability and strong owner satisfaction. If your top priority is spending less up front, the 2019 is the better secondary path and may be worth a close look.
