Is the 2020 Audi A6 a good car?

Yes — the 2020 Audi A6 earns a 5/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. The overview describes it as a tech-forward midsize luxury sedan with standard quattro all-wheel drive, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, dual screens, and semi-autonomous capability, so you’re looking at a model that emphasizes modern features and a premium feel. It also suits you if you want understated luxury rather than flashy styling. With 34.9% of listings marked as good or great deals, the market still gives you some room to shop selectively.

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction. The overview also points to a well-equipped, premium sedan with standard all-wheel drive and a broad set of available driver-assistance and comfort features, which can make ownership feel reassuring when the car has been maintained properly. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is that a tech-heavy luxury sedan can become expensive if prior maintenance was skipped or if electronic features need attention.

What should I look for when buying a used 2020 Audi A6?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 77.6% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should prioritize a history report first, then focus on a pre-purchase inspection that checks the electronics, driver-assistance features, and overall maintenance record. Because this model leans heavily on technology, you’ll want to confirm that the screens, connectivity, and convenience systems all work as intended. Pay close attention to condition and service history, especially on higher-mileage examples or cars with more optional equipment.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2020 Audi A6?

This is a moderate market, so you can be selective without expecting a deep bargain on every listing.

• Deal availability: 34.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 510 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.61% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 77.6% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $22,274, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2020 Audi A6's resale value?

The current average of $22,274 sits slightly below last year's $25,198.

That softer pricing can help you buy more affordably now, but it also means future resale may depend heavily on how well the car is maintained and presented. If you keep mileage reasonable, preserve service records, and avoid accident history, you’ll be in a better position when it’s time to sell. The current market also suggests buyers are still willing to consider this model when it’s priced well and in clean condition.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2020 Audi A6 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2020 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2020 if:

• 34.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 77.6% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.61% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2019 if:

• At $21,347, the 2019 costs less than the current year's $22,274 average.
• It brings a redesigned, more modern-feeling A6 with updated tech and a more sophisticated cabin.

The bottom line: If you want the stronger all-around shopping environment, the 2020 is the better primary target because it combines a lower current average price with solid deal availability and strong owner satisfaction. If your priority is spending less upfront, the 2019 is the better secondary path, especially if you find one in clean condition with the features you want.
