How much does the 2020 Audi A4 cost?

There are 500 listings available, which gives you a solid amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2020 Audi A4 a good car?

Yes — 4.5/5 is a strong user rating for this model year, and the 2020 Audi A4 backs that up with a compact luxury-sedan formula that emphasizes everyday usability and technology. The cabin update with a 10.1-inch touch screen is a notable improvement, and the available Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Virtual Cockpit, and quattro all-wheel drive broaden its appeal if you want a premium commuter with useful features. The tradeoffs are clear, though: the base engine is underwhelming and the back seat is cramped, so it fits you best if you value tech and comfort up front more than rear-seat space. 37.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2020 Audi A4 reliable?

Owners rate it 4.5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2020 Audi A4’s appeal comes from its balanced setup: a turbocharged engine, available quattro traction, and a cabin that was updated with more modern tech. The base engine is described as underwhelming, and the car’s overall usefulness depends on whether you prioritize refinement and features over outright performance. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is ending up with a car whose condition or maintenance history doesn’t match its premium positioning.

What should I look for when buying a used 2020 Audi A4?

At 66.6% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should run a vehicle history report before you commit, then prioritize a pre-purchase inspection so you can catch signs of prior damage, uneven wear, or deferred maintenance. Focus closely on the condition of the electronics, interior features, and drivetrain behavior, since this model’s value is tied heavily to its technology and premium feel. If a listing looks especially attractive on price, make sure the condition supports it before you move forward.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2020 Audi A4?

This is a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you’re patient and focused.

• Deal availability: 37.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 500 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.17% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 66.6% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $19,929, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2020 Audi A4's resale value?

The current average of $19,929 sits slightly below last year's $21,941.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you as a buyer today but may limit upside if you plan to resell soon. If you buy at a strong price and keep the car in clean condition, you’ll be better positioned than someone who pays near the top of the range. The model’s premium badge and broad feature set should still help it remain appealing to shoppers who want a compact luxury sedan with useful tech.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2020 Audi A4 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2020 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2020 if:

• 37.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 66.6% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.17% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2020 Audi A4 makes the most sense if you want the updated cabin tech and a well-rounded luxury-sedan experience at a softer price than last year. If you’re especially price-sensitive, a nearby year may be worth comparing, but the 2020 is the better pick when you want a balance of value, features, and broad market availability.
