The Acura RLX, a full-size luxury sedan, first arrived in 2014 to replace the RL. It carries over for 2020. Every RLX gets a 3.5-liter V6 capable of 310 horsepower and 272 pound-feet of torque, paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission. On the safety front, the RLX comes standard with AcuraWatch, which includes adaptive cruise control, blind-spot monitoring, forward-collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-keeping assist, a multi-angle reversing camera, rear cross-traffic detection, and road-departure mitigation. Thanks to all of its safety tech, the RLX scored a Top Safety Pick award from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS).
