How much does the 2019 Subaru Crosstrek cost?

Prices have softened 4.93% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,801 listings available, which suggests you have a solid pool of used Crosstrek options to compare.

Is the 2019 Subaru Crosstrek a good car?

Yes — the 2019 Subaru Crosstrek earns a 4.8/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise its safety features, interior comfort, and enjoyable driving experience, while also describing it as reliable. For you, that makes it a strong fit if you want a practical small crossover that feels easy to live with, especially if you value everyday usability and all-weather confidence. With 34.6% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is also meaningful market opportunity if you shop carefully.

Is the 2019 Subaru Crosstrek reliable?

Owners rate it 4.8/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

User feedback describes the Crosstrek as reliable, enjoyable to drive, and trouble-free in the ways that matter most to long-term ownership. That kind of owner sentiment is encouraging if you want a used vehicle you can count on for daily driving and years of service.

For used buyers, the main long-term risk is less about the model’s reputation and more about finding one that has been maintained well and not worn down by prior use.

What should I look for when buying a used 2019 Subaru Crosstrek?

At 68.4% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report so you can separate clean examples from those with accident records. After that, prioritize a thorough pre-purchase inspection, especially if the listing price looks unusually attractive. Focus on overall condition, signs of prior repair, and whether the vehicle has been cared for consistently.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 Subaru Crosstrek?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, where you can find value if you compare listings carefully.

• Deal availability: 34.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,801 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.93% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 68.4% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $16,808, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 Subaru Crosstrek's resale value?

The current average of $17,183 sits slightly below last year's $18,075.

That softer pricing can help you as a buyer today, but it also gives you a useful baseline if you plan to resell later. If the market stays steady, a well-kept Crosstrek should remain relatively easy to price because it sits in a popular practical-crossover segment. Strong condition and a clean history will matter most when it is time to sell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.8/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Subaru Crosstrek or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 34.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 68.4% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.93% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.8/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2018 if:

• At $15,835, the 2018 costs less than the current year's $17,183 average.
• It emphasizes practicality, safety, and a more rugged, adventure-ready feel.

The bottom line: You should lean toward the 2019 if you want the stronger current-market balance of price, satisfaction, and availability. If your priority is spending less up front, the 2018 is the better value path, especially if you find one in clean condition.
