How much does the 2019 Nissan Pathfinder cost?

Is the 2019 Nissan Pathfinder a good car?

Generally — with a 4.3/5 user rating, this model year looks like a strong fit if you want a practical three-row midsize SUV with a spacious interior and a clear focus on family use, space, and towing ability. The overview also points to a comfortable, feature-rich setup rather than a rugged off-roader, which makes it appealing if your priorities are everyday usability and versatility. For 2019, the added Rock Creek Edition and standard safety and convenience upgrades on many trims broaden its appeal further. There are 30.6% good or great deals in the market, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2019 Nissan Pathfinder reliable?

Owners rate it 4.3/5, a solid signal of long-term satisfaction.

The overview also flags below-average fuel economy for the class and notes that some earlier models had CVT concerns, so you should pay close attention to maintenance history and how the vehicle drives. For used buyers, that means reliability risk is manageable, but only if you verify service records and avoid examples with signs of neglected upkeep.

What should I look for when buying a used 2019 Nissan Pathfinder?

At 61.7% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report and confirm whether any reported damage was repaired properly. Then prioritize a thorough pre-purchase inspection, with extra attention to maintenance records, transmission behavior, and overall condition. Because this model is valued for family use and towing, make sure the interior, cargo area, and drivetrain all match the seller’s claims.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 Nissan Pathfinder?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile options.

• Deal availability: 30.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,239 listings available.

If you find a listing below $13,438, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 Nissan Pathfinder's resale value?

The current average of $13,460 sits slightly below last year's $15,378.

That decline suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you as a buyer but may limit upside if you plan to sell soon. If you buy at the right price and keep the vehicle in strong condition, you can reduce the impact of further depreciation. Demand should remain steadier for well-kept examples with the right equipment and a clean history.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.3/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Nissan Pathfinder or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 30.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 61.7% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.47% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.3/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2019 Pathfinder makes the most sense if you want a roomy, family-friendly three-row SUV with a strong value proposition and you’re willing to shop carefully for condition and history. If your top priority is the lowest possible purchase price, a nearby year may be worth comparing, but the 2019 is the better pick when you want a balance of features, value, and market availability.
