Used 2019 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter for Sale near New Jersey

How much does the 2019 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter cost?

Prices have softened 8.97% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 413 listings available, which suggests you have a meaningful amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2019 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter a good car?

Yes — 5/5 is a strong user rating for this model year, and that lines up with its appeal as a highly configurable full-size van. The overview points to a vehicle that can work as a cargo hauler, passenger shuttle, or custom-build base, with a wide range of body, length, cab, payload, and drivetrain combinations. It also brings a refined cabin, strong equipment at launch, and the kind of versatility that matters if you need one van to do many jobs.

The market also looks reasonably accessible, with 26.2% of listings marked as good or great deals.

Is the 2019 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The overview also suggests a mixed reliability picture: the Sprinter’s premium equipment and electronics add complexity, and owners have reported software glitches and sensor issues. The diesel emissions system can also be costly to maintain, so used buyers should expect ownership risk to be more about repair complexity and maintenance expense than basic utility.

What should I look for when buying a used 2019 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter?

At 61.7% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should run a vehicle history report before you commit, then prioritize a pre-purchase inspection from a technician who knows commercial vans. Focus on signs of body damage, electrical or infotainment issues, and any evidence of diesel emissions-system trouble if the van is diesel-equipped.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find opportunities.

• Deal availability: 26.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 413 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.97% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 61.7% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $26,775, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter's resale value?

The current average of $26,775 sits slightly below last year's $29,414.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled, which can help you buy more efficiently now but may also limit near-term upside if you plan to resell soon. For a future seller, the key is to buy well, keep maintenance documented, and avoid examples with accident history or unresolved electrical issues. A well-kept van with the right configuration should still attract buyers because of its versatility and premium positioning.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 26.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 61.7% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.97% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: Buy the 2019 if you want the redesigned Sprinter’s broad configurability, strong equipment list, and current-market pricing that has eased from last year. If you’re especially price-sensitive, a nearby year may make sense, but you should still compare condition, accident history, and maintenance records closely because those factors matter more than the badge year alone.
