How much does the 2019 Mercedes-Benz E-Class cost?

Prices have softened 6.18% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,208 listings available, which suggests you have a solid amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2019 Mercedes-Benz E-Class a good car?

Yes — the 4.7/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction. Reviewers consistently praise its luxurious feel, performance, and handling, and many call out the smooth ride and powerful engine options. The model’s upscale character also fits buyers who want a luxury mid-size car with comfort, technology, and prestige. With 36.2% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have a meaningful chance to find a competitive offer.

Is the 2019 Mercedes-Benz E-Class reliable?

Owners rate it 4.7/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

Reviewers describe it as reliable, and the model is also characterized as beautifully built and generally dependable. That said, used buyers should still plan for age-related ownership risk and verify maintenance history carefully, especially on higher-mileage examples.

What should I look for when buying a used 2019 Mercedes-Benz E-Class?

At 60.8% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should run a vehicle history report before you commit, then prioritize a pre-purchase inspection from a qualified mechanic. Focus on body condition, brake feel, and infotainment behavior, since those are the kinds of issues owners have mentioned.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 Mercedes-Benz E-Class?

This is a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find value.

• Deal availability: 36.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,208 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.18% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 60.8% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $27,042, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 Mercedes-Benz E-Class's resale value?

The current average of $27,096 sits slightly below last year's $28,879.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled, which can make resale a little less favorable than it was a year ago. If you buy now, your future value will depend heavily on condition, mileage, and how well the car has been maintained. Strong examples with clean history and desirable equipment should hold up better than neglected ones.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.7/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Mercedes-Benz E-Class or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 36.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 60.8% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.18% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.7/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2018 if:

• At $22,660, the 2018 costs less than the current year's $27,096 average.
• It delivers a polished, upscale luxury experience.

Consider the 2020 if:

• At $29,626, the 2020 costs more than the current year's $27,096 average.
• It adds a newer base engine and a more decadent, option-rich feel.

The bottom line: The 2019 is the best fit if you want a well-liked, well-equipped luxury sedan at a softened market price. If your priority is saving money, the 2018 is the better value play; if you want to spend more for a newer model-year experience, the 2020 is the natural step up.
