Behind the 720S’s pair of seats is a 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged aluminum V8 engine that is good for an incredible 710 horsepower and 568 pound-feet of torque, enough for a 2.7-second 0-60 mile per hour sprint and a 212-mph top speed. The screaming V8 drives the rear wheels via a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission (DCT). Fuel economy returns 18 mpg city, 15 highway, and 22 combined. The hardtop 720S and the Spider are available in base, Luxury, and Performance trims. The base trim features a dark palladium exterior trim and the choice between a Nappa-leather-and-Alcantara interior or an all-Alcantara interior. And the 720S features basic safety features like a reversing camera. The 720S is among the quickest cars on the road today, but it is not without competition.
