Is the 2019 Lincoln MKZ reliable?

Owners rate it 4.2/5, a solid signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback points to a car that many drivers find dependable in day-to-day use, especially when it comes to comfort and overall ownership experience. The repeated praise for the ride quality and interior suggests a model that can be easy to live with over time. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is choosing a poorly maintained example, so condition and service history matter.

What should I look for when buying a used 2019 Lincoln MKZ?

At 61.9% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report so you can separate clean examples from cars with prior damage. After that, prioritize a thorough pre-purchase inspection, especially if the listing price looks unusually attractive. Focus on overall condition, repair quality, and signs of wear that could affect long-term ownership costs.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 Lincoln MKZ?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so it makes sense to shop carefully and compare listings.

• Deal availability: 33.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 289 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.16% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 61.9% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $16,760, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 Lincoln MKZ's resale value?

The current average of $16,760 sits slightly below last year's $18,249.

That softer pricing suggests the model has already absorbed some depreciation, which can help if you buy at the right number. If market conditions stay steady, a lower entry price today can reduce the amount you lose to depreciation later. Strong demand for well-kept examples should help support future resale, especially if you choose a clean, well-documented car.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.2/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Lincoln MKZ or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 33.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 61.9% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.16% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.2/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2019 is the better pick if you want a balance of value and owner satisfaction, especially now that prices have eased. If your priority is stretching your budget as far as possible, a different year may be worth comparing, but the 2019 stands out as the more compelling choice when you want a well-liked model at a more approachable used price.
