Reviewers describe it as dependable and trouble-free, and the model’s strong reliability reputation is one of its biggest draws. For used buyers, that generally means lower risk than many luxury crossovers, though condition and service history still matter.

What should I look for when buying a used 2019 Lexus NX?

At 61.2% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report and confirm whether any reported damage was minor or structural. Then prioritize a pre-purchase inspection so you can check for wear, repairs, and any signs of poor bodywork or uneven panel fit. Focus on overall condition, maintenance records, and how the vehicle drives, since those details matter more when you’re sorting through a mixed inventory.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 Lexus NX?

This is a moderate market, so you can be selective without expecting deep discounts across the board.

• Deal availability: 35.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 847 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 2.65% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $23,040, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 Lexus NX's resale value?

The current average of $23,791 sits slightly below last year's $24,439.

That tells you the market has eased a bit, which can help you buy more carefully now but may also limit short-term upside if you plan to resell soon. Even so, the NX’s strong owner satisfaction and premium-brand appeal should help it stay relevant with used shoppers. If you keep mileage reasonable and maintain it well, you should be in a better position when it’s time to sell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.9/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Lexus NX or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 35.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 61.2% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 2.65% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.9/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2019 is a smart choice if you want the NX’s distinctive styling, strong owner approval, and a market that still offers some deal potential. If your priority is simply the lowest possible purchase price, you may want to compare nearby years and focus on the cleanest, best-maintained example rather than the newest badge alone.
