Yes — the 4.92/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction. Is the 2019 Lexus NX reliable?

Owners rate it 4.92/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The review summary also points to a reputation for dependable ownership, with buyers highlighting the NX’s trouble-free feel, long-term appeal, and confidence-inspiring ownership experience. That lines up well with shoppers who want a used luxury crossover they can count on. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is less about the brand image and more about finding a well-kept example with clean maintenance history.

What should I look for when buying a used 2019 Lexus NX?

At 61.8% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report so you can confirm accident records, title status, and ownership history before you get too far into the process. After that, prioritize a thorough pre-purchase inspection, especially if the listing has higher mileage or incomplete service records. Focus on overall condition, signs of prior bodywork, and whether the vehicle’s equipment and interior wear match the asking price.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 Lexus NX?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you’re patient.

• Deal availability: 39.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 856 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 2.11% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 61.8% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $23,038, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 Lexus NX's resale value?

The current average of $24,025 sits slightly below last year's $24,543.

That price movement suggests the market has eased a bit, which can help you buy more carefully now but may also mean future resale gains are limited unless you choose a particularly clean, well-equipped example. If you plan to sell later, condition and documentation will matter a lot, because buyers tend to pay more for vehicles that look well cared for and have a strong ownership story. The NX’s strong owner satisfaction should help support demand over time.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.92/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Lexus NX or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 39.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 61.8% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 2.11% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.92/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want the best balance of value, style, and owner satisfaction, the 2019 is a strong place to start. It makes sense as the primary choice if you care most about the NX’s premium feel and want to shop a year with meaningful inventory and some pricing softness. If you’re especially price-sensitive, you can also compare nearby years to see whether a lower asking price outweighs the 2019’s stronger market position.
