Is the 2019 Land Rover Range Rover Sport a good car?

Generally — 4.2/5 is a strong user rating for this model year, and owners consistently point to its powerful performance, luxurious features, comfort, and smooth ride. The overview also frames it as a luxury SUV with serious off-road credibility and a more performance-focused personality than many rivals, so it fits you best if you want refinement and capability in the same package. Is the 2019 Land Rover Range Rover Sport reliable?

Owners rate it 4.2/5, a solid signal of long-term satisfaction.

User feedback highlights a positive ownership experience overall, with drivers praising the model’s comfort, smooth ride, and strong performance. The same feedback also points to concerns about maintenance and condition in used examples, so reliability looks more dependent on how well a specific vehicle has been cared for than on broad owner enthusiasm alone. For used buyers, that means long-term ownership risk is manageable only if you choose carefully and budget for upkeep.

What should I look for when buying a used 2019 Land Rover Range Rover Sport?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 76.1% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should prioritize a full history report, especially if you’re comparing multiple listings with similar prices. A pre-purchase inspection matters here because condition and maintenance history can have a big impact on ownership costs. Focus on service records, signs of wear, and whether the vehicle has been maintained consistently rather than just chasing the lowest sticker price.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 Land Rover Range Rover Sport?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you’re patient.

If you find a listing below $25,702, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 Land Rover Range Rover Sport's resale value?

The current average of $25,702 sits slightly below last year's $30,299.

That drop suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can make future resale more challenging if prices continue to soften. For you as a seller, that means condition, mileage, and maintenance history matter even more because buyers are likely to be selective. A well-kept example should still stand out, but you should not expect especially strong retention compared with a year ago.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.2/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Land Rover Range Rover Sport or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 37.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 76.1% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 15.17% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.2/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2020 if:

• At $29,432, the 2020 costs more than the current year's $25,702 average.
• It adds plug-in hybrid efficiency without giving up the Range Rover Sport’s traditional capability.

The bottom line:
Buy the 2019 if you want the better value and are comfortable shopping carefully for condition and maintenance history. If you’re price-sensitive, the 2019 is the smarter path; if you want the newer hybrid direction and can pay more, the 2020 is worth a look.
