Used 2019 Land Rover Range Rover for Sale near Gainesville, GA
The Land Rover Range Rover was the original luxury SUV—equally as capable on the trails and backroads as it was in the country club drive. Many competitors have entered the market since then, and the “Range Rover” portfolio has expanded to include at least four distinct models. Even as the model gets into the later years of its fourth generation, nothing can match the iconic presence and design of the Range Rover, which continues to sit at the top of Land Rover’s product portfolio. Fresh off of a facelift in 2018, the Range Rover sees no major updates for 2019.
Land Rover offers its flagship SUV in a number of grades: Base, HSE, Supercharged, Autobiography, and SVAutobiography. Base comes with 19-inch alloy wheels, LED headlights with light signatures, 16-way power heated front seats, leather upholstery, tri-zone climate control, a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system with navigation, a 380-watt sound system, and a power liftgate with gesture recognition. From there, available features include 24-way power and massaging front seats, power reclining rear seats, soft-close doors, a heated windshield, and a 1700-watt sound system.
The Range Rover’s hood houses any of three different engines. The base engine is a 3.0-liter supercharged 6-cylinder good for 340 horsepower and 332 pound-feet of torque, available in the Base grade. Opt for HSE, and Land Rover will throw in 40 more horsepower, making for 380 hp on that same V6. For those with speed in mind, there’s a supercharged 5.0-liter 8-cylinder with a substantial power bump: 518 hp and 461 lb-ft on Supercharged and Autobiography grades. And SVAutobiography Dynamic gets that V8, but with 557 hp and 516 lb-ft. Lastly, there is a 3.0-liter 6-cylinder diesel, which Land Rover calls its “Td6” engine. It delivers 254 hp and 443 lb-ft, nearly 600 miles of range between fill-ups, and can be fitted to Base or HSE.
No matter how you equip it, every Range Rover benefits from all-wheel drive (AWD), an 8-speed automatic transmission, and plenty of off-road technology. Hill descent control and Terrain Response are standard; the latter offers different modes: Normal, Grass/Gravel/Snow, Mud and Ruts, Sand, and Rock Crawl, to allow the SUV to maneuver on all sorts of terrain. Terrain Response 2, optional on some configurations, comes with a setting that lets the vehicle automatically decide which mode to use. All Terrain Progress Control, meanwhile, is an extra-cost feature that works as a cruise control that takes care of the accelerator and brake on off-road and trail environments, letting the driver focus on steering. Finally, there’s an active locking rear differential available.
There’s something to be said for mass and height, but the Range Rover is still committed to avoiding accidents in the first place. Thus, a reversing camera and lane departure warning are standard. Blind-spot monitoring, traffic sign recognition, front and rear parking sensors, surround-view cameras, and adaptive cruise control are all available as you scale the trim ladder.
The Range Rover continues to sit atop the luxury SUV throne with enough style to be opulent yet enough restraint to be demure. While many luxury crossovers make promises of off-road prowess, the Range Rover has enough hardware beneath its pretty paint to get down and dirty if need be. The 2019 Land Rover Range Rover is simply unlike anything else.
