Used 2019 Jeep Cherokee for Sale nearSan Jose, CA

How much does the 2019 Jeep Cherokee cost?

Prices have softened 9.82% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 4,875 listings available, which suggests you have a solid amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2019 Jeep Cherokee a good car?

Yes — the 4.67/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction. Drivers commonly praise its comfort, smooth ride, spacious interior, feature content, and value for money, while the available V6 also gets positive attention. For you, that makes this a sensible pick if you want a compact SUV with a more modern cabin and practical everyday usability. With 34.0% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still meaningful market opportunity if you shop carefully.

Is the 2019 Jeep Cherokee reliable?

Owners rate it 4.67/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

User feedback also points to a vehicle that many owners find dependable in daily use, with praise centered on comfort and a smooth driving experience. At the same time, some shoppers mention tech issues and missing features on lower trims, so a used example is best approached with a careful inspection and a close look at how well it has been maintained over time.

What should I look for when buying a used 2019 Jeep Cherokee?

At 69.5% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report so you can confirm accident records, title status, and ownership history before you go any further. Then prioritize a thorough pre-purchase inspection, with extra attention to body condition, panel alignment, and signs of past repair work. Because this model year sits within a broader generation that has had transmission concerns in earlier years, a careful test drive should be part of your evaluation.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 Jeep Cherokee?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you stay disciplined.

• Deal availability: 34.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 4,875 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.82% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 69.5% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $14,678, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 Jeep Cherokee's resale value?

The current average of $14,678 sits slightly below last year's $16,276.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled, which can matter if you plan to sell later. A softer current market can limit upside in the near term, but it can also make your purchase more attractive if you buy at the right price. Strong condition, clean history, and desirable equipment will matter more when it comes time to resell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.67/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Jeep Cherokee or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 34.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 69.5% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.82% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.67/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2019 is the better choice if you want the refreshed styling, standard modern tech, and strong owner satisfaction in a year that still offers decent market value. If you are especially price-sensitive, a nearby year may be worth comparing, but you should expect to give up some of the 2019’s updated features and overall appeal.
