How much does the 2019 Honda Accord cost?

Prices have softened 6.59% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 3,834 listings available, which gives you a solid pool of options to compare.

Is the 2019 Honda Accord a good car?

Generally — the 2019 Honda Accord earns a 4.43/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise its stylish design, luxurious interior, and excellent reliability, and many also highlight the impressive fuel economy and smooth ride quality. The roomy cockpit and practical family-sedan layout make it especially appealing if you want comfort and everyday usefulness in one package. With 33.5% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have a meaningful chance to find a competitive offer.

Is the 2019 Honda Accord reliable?

Owners rate it 4.43/5, a solid signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback emphasizes excellent reliability, and it also describes the car as dependable enough that many drivers recommend it highly. That kind of praise matters for used-car shopping because it suggests the Accord can be a sensible long-term ownership choice if you buy a well-kept example. For used buyers, the main risk is less about the model’s reputation and more about how each individual car was maintained and driven.

What should I look for when buying a used 2019 Honda Accord?

At 54.1% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report so you can separate clean examples from cars with accident records. After that, prioritize a thorough pre-purchase inspection, especially for signs of uneven wear, repair quality, or anything that suggests the car has had a harder life than the listing implies. Focus on overall condition first, then compare mileage, maintenance records, and cosmetic wear so you can judge whether the asking price fits the car in front of you.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 Honda Accord?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile opportunities.

• Deal availability: 33.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 3,834 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.59% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 54.1% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $18,490, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 Honda Accord's resale value?

The current average of $18,490 sits slightly below last year's $19,796.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy at a more favorable entry point today. For future resale, a lower purchase price can reduce your depreciation exposure if you keep the car in strong condition and avoid overpaying now. The Accord’s broad appeal and strong owner satisfaction should help support demand when it’s time to sell.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.43/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Honda Accord or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 33.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 54.1% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.59% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.43/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2018 if:

• At $17,896, the 2018 costs less than the current year's $18,490 average.
• It offers a fresh redesign with a more engaging driving feel.

Consider the 2020 if:

• At $19,836, the 2020 costs more than the current year's $18,490 average.
• It adds easy-to-use tech and adaptive cruise control.

The bottom line: The 2019 is the best all-around pick if you want a well-liked Accord with a softer price than last year and strong owner approval. If you’re more price-sensitive, the 2018 is the value play; if you want to spend more for a newer model-year step up, the 2020 is the alternative to compare.
